Is this video a joke😂😂😂😂 you couldn’t even compare the lowest model Lexus rx350 to a BMW because the quality will always surpass the BMW.
ОтветитьBest suv. Thank you Toyota.
ОтветитьDo you guys recommend an extended warranty on a purchase of a 2017 rx350 with 90k miles (one owner in mint condition)?
Ответитьhi. Can't agree with your assessment that power on acceleration is underwhelming. Having driven a number of high end cars the RX is quick enough for the majority of humans and passing power is more than enough. Throttle response is very good and I've never experienced jerkiness.
ОтветитьGood cars and the only problem is the the unlucky people who get the timing chain cover oil seeping. It is more common than we like but it normally isn't an engine killer. It will be an annoyance, smell of burning oil on engine and could lead to some early demise of car parts the oil eventually lands on. I can't believe after an engine has been used for almost 20 years, they still haven't figured out a way to fix a $20 gasket problem without removing an entire engine. Ugh! So for the majority it is all good!
ОтветитьI have a 2016 in pearl white and it still turns heads. I have 140,000 miles and have only had to do normal maintenance
ОтветитьWe recently bought a 2022 RX had only 16k miles. It was manufactured very late in 2022 and was used by a corporate type. Still has new car smell and look. We expect to easily get 10 years out of it.
ОтветитьMy 2016 today has 138,000 miles with only boots replaced at 133,000 miles
ОтветитьIve tried to buy 3 RX 350's and I simply cannot accept the bumpy ride as soon as the car hits a pot hole or even the tiny bumps that seperate the roads. I cant believe how bad the suspension is. Just awul. Nithing like the ES 300 we never felt a thing. Everything is right about this video accept the reality of the rough drive on bumpy roads.
ОтветитьI hear that the Rx has issues with oil leaks. Specifically from the gasket cover. I’ve read reviews where a lot of ppl needed that replaced. I’ve also looked at the Carfax on a couple and they had that part replaced. This is a 6K cost at the dealer to fix. I’m torn !!!
Has anyone had issues with oil leaks ?
Can three people sit in the back of car comfortably?
Ответить1x(3/3/24)……done thank you excellent
ОтветитьI just bought one for 28k otd! Love ❤️ it
ОтветитьI love that Lexus clock ❤
ОтветитьGet a 2012-15 or 2018-19 Rx. That's what the master tech AMD suggests here on YT. High miles is OK, as long as it has a good maintenance record. Ideally, you would look for one with 60k miles or less, so that you can service the transmission fluid. That way, you should have a Lexus that can last 200k plus if you take care of it by doing maintenance and 5k mile oil changes (or every 6 months). 👍
ОтветитьI've read lots of consumer reviews around the vehicle vibrating and certain speeds. It seems it was the 2016 and 2017 models. (just check out Edmunds). Did you notice this at all?
Ответитьlol just buy one/ you’ll love it!!!
ОтветитьI'm trying to find a good blend of comfort, sportiness, and reliability. I'm not sure it exists.
ОтветитьI test drove many '16 - '19 RX & now own a '16 I keep hearing how its extremely quiet but i don't think its really that quiet in the acceleration there's a bit of a refined engine growl in that can get pretty loud, no road noise once settled but that growl ruckus was a turn off when test driving but i noticed all of them had it so i gave in
I test drove a Volkswagen Atlas that was quieter in its acceleration so for Lexus this is uncharacteristic
Great long time review
Appreciate it!
im curious, how do you turn off the screen on the head entertaiment
unit? i have RX 2021 model, and cant find any way to turn it off
I have a 2016 bought new has 177k on it still drives and rides as good as new . Love it
ОтветитьCan't beat the Lexus/Toyota reliability, so for a used vehicle, this is one of the top 3 choices out there.
ОтветитьI'm 6'4 250 & super comfortable driving min!
ОтветитьThe 2016 interior is so much nicer than the previous generator
ОтветитьI was going to get a 2015 for my daughters first car reliable and safe, but wondering if spending a little more for the 2016 worth it
ОтветитьLooks like Singer island
ОтветитьI have a 2016 rx i bought used 5 years ago. It still rides new and smooth. I like your comparison to a gx.
ОтветитьDid this dude say 7 seconds to 60 in an suv is slow? I have a 09 rav4 v6 and it feels hella fast for a soccer moms car lol😂 this has to feel faster being it’s an upgraded of my same engine
ОтветитьI just bought a 2018. It defines luxury and comfort. I have the base trim that has the classy horizontal chrome slabs for mouth (not the hideous black honeycomb) so it looks much better IMO. Also it does not pretend to be something it isn’t. It’s not sporty or geared to be driven hard. It does not have lots of cargo and it’s not sporty or an off-road beast. But it is perfect for commuting to work, getting groceries, driving in the rain all in comfort and style in a civilized world. It’s a very relaxing experience driving one that helps you relieve stress. It is what a Lexus should be.
ОтветитьGood luck with that lackluster acceleration. I drove one and wasn't impressed at all
Ответитьwhat vehicle is perfect with no problems? if there’s something better, buy it.
ОтветитьI own a ‘17 RX 350 which I bought for $74,520 in October of 2016.
Current mileage is 280,000 kilometers (100+ kilometers daily commute)
Serviced every 10,000 kilometers.
Total maintenance cost: $25,000 including 5 sets of performance tyres.
Total fuel consumption (over 7 years): ~58,800 litres (15,590 gallons)
Minor issues:
1- Center console armrest worn out and slightly torn. (Did not fix)
2- Drivers middle vent stopped blowing air ($735)
Major issues: None.
My mom just bought a 2016 Lexus RX 350 for $23,000. She couldn’t be any happier, it still feels very modern and drives very well.
ОтветитьI do feel alot of cracks and bumps in the road with the 20 rims. Do you recommend the premier ltx tires on the 20s, i have the primacys a/s tour. Or move to the 18 rims, with a soft tire?
ОтветитьThe lift gate struts can start to rattle over bumps. Its really loud but the fix is either replacement at $212 a strut or spending $2 on pipe insulator from Home Depot. (Just wrap them and provide cushion and sound dampening. )
ОтветитьIt was everything that I needed to hear
ОтветитьI find if I want to have better acceleration, I just set it to sport mode. Changes the gear ratio, and I find it quite "peppy". I like Scotty_Gee disagree about it being sluggish. You step on, it goes.
ОтветитьGreat video.
Ответитьthis car is not as quite as he says. I can hear plenty of road noise when i drive and the suspension is bad, I feel every bump on the road
ОтветитьAlmost every RX I see in South Florida has those 20” two-tone wheels
ОтветитьThere is a 16 RX at our local Lexus dealership with 114k miles do you think it is a good idea to get
ОтветитьNooo way.....when I put my pedal down I'm gone......bad ass acceleration....Love this vehicle.
ОтветитьThe 2015 RX350 was the best year RX350
ОтветитьSo yeah. Best used SUV out there!
ОтветитьGood fair review
ОтветитьSo what was the major issue? Very poor follow through
Ответить
