I'm a cancer survivor I had breast cancer in October 2016 and I had to have 33 weeks of Radiation on a 5 day aweek visit for 15 min each time I made it through and got to Ring the Bell at the last day of my 33 week session it was a very hard thing to go through but I knew it was a very necessary thing to do for my body I was very proud of myself it was very challenging for me. 😊

I have my first visit with the radiation oncologist tomorrow, April 13th. I have to have 6 weeks of it for tonsil cancer that's metastasized to neck lymph nodes and the thyroid.

I got to go through this in a couple weeks I had a tumor on my brain and I got it removed now I got to get treatment

Dr. Peter Newman nice to listen you. My daughter 17Y 6M is suffering from Soft Tissue Mass on Lower Limb Knee Back (4" over Knee Joint). Cyst is removed 2ice. Oncologist advised Radiation, I am worried about Daughter's Bone may not be damaged or rest of the Physique may not affect. If I may have any WhatsApp number to share reports to find the intensity of the case please?

Why in the world would anyone go through this to avoid something we gonna do anyways illl never know and this is people that beleives in God,if you love God would you not rather be with him as to be in this crazy world?if I get cancer I won't take anything I can't wait to see whats next but I don't wanna die of cancer either but I sure ont fight like hell to stay here in this world where food is so high bills can't live happily anymore I can't wait to see God if they are one

An ex girlfriend of mine was diagnosed with cancer last summer. Had her female body parts removed. Still cancer was there. After 5 months of treatment her grandmother called me a few weeks ago. Hospice has taken over her care. So devastating to hear. So sad. She will be 45 in July.

Thank you for this information. My dad has a consultation for radiation therapy this week and I hope the doctor can give him this treatment for metastasis liposarcoma because I have faith this treatment will help him unlike chemotherapy that is not helping much

I have heard people say that radiotherapy afterwards is incredibly painful. I have heard people say that for six weeks afterwards, they will choose death over going through the pain. I am very unhappy that no source talks about that.

I just finished 20 radiation treatments for NHL. Chest and under my arm feel like someone burned me with a hot iron till it blistered. No sure I would ever do it again. Gods will now.

Did you lose your hair? I'm going in soon and now I have read that hair loss is a side effect.

I had my session for hodgkins lymphoma for 11 days and felt no side effects like loss of appetite , body aches and everything else but, i did have constipation which was the worst

Every one I have known that has cancer and does radiation the cancer comes back and it kills them. Radiation is not good the best thing to do is change your diet and stop the sugar and carbs because that is what feeds the cancer and that is the whole truth and they know it but they want to make money .

I had aggressive Prostate Cancer, a PSA score of 174. No saving the prostate so it was removed along with the seminal vesicles. Post surgery I had a residual PSA of 1.6 rising to 2.4. Should be zero. Started 40 sessions of radiation treatment and after having done 22 of the 40 sessions I tested my PSA again and it had fallen to 0.29. Good news. Treatment doesn't outright kill cancer cells but instead cripples their ability to reproduce. As I write this 24 sessions are completed. My oncologist hadn't ordered a PSA test so I did it myself. Its confirmation on this direction.

My father is hearing some kind of noise inside his right ear,so we took a scan,the result
( Right ear: moderate to profound sloping sensorineural hearing loss form 500Hz to 8kHz (mixed component at 1kHz) with normal hearing at 250Hz
Left ear : hearing sensitivity within normal limits from 250Hz to 4kHz with mild hearing loss at 8kHz ) but he has no Diabetes.
And again I took M R I scan also
The result
(Considering the clinical history most likely diagnosis is an acoustic schwannoma of right side)
So what should I Do Doctor?
