ОтветитьHey Kevin! Thank you so much for this video. It really helps me to understand the Lookup functions better!! Your videos are the best. Keep up the good work 😍🤩🤩
ОтветитьIs there a way you can use xlookup to search a list that is not in ascending or descending order?
Ответитьthank you very much , very helpful
ОтветитьHi,
what formula do I need to get this result from the table below,
1 AJS
2 BKT
3 CLU
4 DMV
5 ENW
6 FOX
7 GPY
8 HQZ
9 IR
For example a given input word... PERFECT
To get result........ 7596532 from the numbers on the table. The word PERFECT would have a value of 7596532. Every letter from any input word would have a number value.
I'm pulling my hairs with this lol I tried vlookup, IF, and many other formulas but not getting the result I want. This is a basic reference from the table. I anyone here could answer this I will stopped pulling my hairs lol
Thank you
Kevin is great but I don't think this was one of his good tutorials ( IF it was
meant for BEGINNERS). Title says "VLOOKUP" so not sure why "XLOOKUP" was introduced.
Thank you.
How can I find duplicates between 2 excel sheets. Especially when you have a lot of data?
ОтветитьI am unable to see Xlookup in my Excel 2019. It has only limited formulas in place. Is there a issue with my excel?

ОтветитьThanks a lot! I have a question, regarding to Vlookup Closest Match, the example that 392 is closer to 400 than 300, why it falled back to 300 not jump to the closest one, 400 ?
ОтветитьInstead of using xlookup to calculate the order profit, can we use "SUM(E2+F2)*C2"?
ОтветитьThank you so much
Ответить@kevinstratvert I need your help to use Vlookup using when there are many similar name items for different sizes, if also there is any ai tool please suggest.
The requirement is to prepare quotation where the items are similar from different clients but slight change in spelling or name.
Best teacher!!

ОтветитьIs there a way to apply a formula to a cell based on a lookup function using a drop down list?
ОтветитьBest VLOOKUP
Ответитьvery nice
ОтветитьThanks to you!
ОтветитьHello all! this video was incredibly helpful, I was able to do pretty much everything besides the "VLOOPUP across sheet" to use the table from sheet 2 for my Lookup_array on sheet 1. it keeps using the table on sheet 1 instead of actually holding the information from sheet 2. I am on a MAC, not sure how to fix that. any help?
ОтветитьClean and simple explanation. Thats what I "lookup" for.
Ответить@KevinStratvert, I receive a new Excel worksheet every week with data in 13 columns and up to 600 rows. The data is linked horizontally. Some data in a row will always remain the same (customer name, customer #, PO #, etc.) but the data in 5-6 columns of that row change weekly (date, line #, qty, etc.) and I am trying to learn an easier way to compare two worksheets with large data sets to find differences. I'm not sure if HLookup is the correct tool for this purpose. Do you have any recommendations?
ОтветитьGreat Video Kevin - easy to follow! In the last bit with match mode and search mode, are those values defined by you or they existed before?
ОтветитьThank you for doing this video! This made matching phone numbers I called to names in my contacts much easier!!
ОтветитьKevin, Thank you. Your explanations are superb. I hope you keep up with your good work from which, I am sure, thousands of people benefit. All the best always.
ОтветитьThe video is very helpful, but I cant seem to get what I want done. maybe I am just putting something in wrong. Throws pc, and burns excel program into ash
ОтветитьYou are the best, awesome breakdown
