Snagged a 7600 for 135 bucks. Paired with a price error x670 mobo for 70 bucks
Ответитьhow is the integrated graphics tho? can just the cpu with that run videos at 1080p?
ОтветитьIt's my choice for an upgrade from my i7 3770, so a nice solid upgrade on a budget. Plus it's will pair better with my 3060ti and minimize my bottleneck. I don't overclock as I don't really know what I'm doing there so this is great info to let me know PBO isn't really a thing I'll look at. Thank you @GN
ОтветитьHello everybody. Please advise. at the moment I have 10400 and 6700xt (undervolt). I took a PC for games and to consume less electricity since I live in Ukraine. Should I change to 12400 or 5600? or collect for 7600? which of these measures will consume less? thank you
ОтветитьWhy didn’t you show the 7600x performance with pbo?
ОтветитьAlmost 10 months later since the posting of this video and motherboard prices are still outrageous.
ОтветитьIs there an update video of this, 8 months later?
ОтветитьX should be a better binned chip. You can set PPT to 75W, do a PBO2 undervolt of -20 (or even 30) and it will run at 5.3 all-core, while spending 75W, which stock 7600 usually can't do.
ОтветитьI don't know what that means here's money gaming computer man 🤣🤣 that probably just sold me on the X
ОтветитьThe more i watch GN the more i love it
ОтветитьFunny thing, this CPU costs ~280 USD where I'm from...
ОтветитьIdk how amd does their calculations for power. But you don't need the wattage to calculate it. P=I^2*R. So watts is amps squared times resistance
Ответить7600 bundled with starfield is a great deal for $219
Ответитьescaping predictable inflation forced me to future proof into AM5 & DDR5 even with a budget where everything is mid to low end (RAM at 4800, 7600 and a B650 mobo with no PCIe 5.0). Could have future proofed better if I went with a PCI 5.0 B650E, but budget was too constrained as it was. Now everything is 30% more expensive but I least I have DDR5, and it will get more expensive. Basically: A620 mobos are now at the price of what B650 mobos were a week ago.
Ответитьbut the 7600 has a free cooler. with the 7600x you would have to buy a cooler
ОтветитьI am confused between 7600 or 7600x . The only thing which concerns me more is the temperature between the 2. 7600 is lesser than 7600x. However, I will still use AIO 240mm. But still, I dunno which one shall I pair with my ZOTAC GAMING GeForce RTX 3080 Ti Trinity OC.
Ответитьits me, gaming computer man
ОтветитьI used the R5 7600 in my build a few weeks ago and have been nothing but happy with the way it performs. One thing I have to say is that if you do go with this CPU, absolutely run the curve optimizer in Ryzen Master. Running Cinebench R23 With PBO enabled, my 7600 was running at 81C at 4.9ghz all cores, and was at its power limit using a Thermalright Peerless Assassin cooler. I set the curve optimizer to "per core" and left the default -30mV offset in place. After it was done, it applied the maximum -30mV offset to all cores. I ran it again, this time with a -40mV offset, hoping to find the undervolting limit of this CPU, it set all of the cores to the limit again. With the -40mV curve applied in the BIOS, temps are now 65C at 5.1ghz on all cores, and it was using 15W less power. I also gained around 300 points in Cinebench. I could push it farther with a -60mV offset or up the boost frequency but I really don't see the need.
ОтветитьSorry. Which app is better ?
ОтветитьSo basically 13700k is so much better if you are just gaming in terms of power consumption because you never utilize 100% of the cpu i play eve online on my 11700k its like 10-15%
ОтветитьAM5 motherboards are still unaffordable.
Ответитьbooo in 2023 using games the ps4 did and almost (basicly a full decade lather because consoles aren't highest tech at launch) shadow of the tomb raider was approximately started dev in 2011-2012 so its 2023 and your testing it blah
ОтветитьI want to upgrade from an old intel system and Im still at a loss for what to buy, AM5 motherboards still cost way more than AM4 and DDR5 ram is a bit more expensive as well. Even if a 7600 is only 100€ more than a 5600 the costs add up to a point where you could get a way better GPU. The market is kinda crazy.
ОтветитьSo, what cooler is this need? Anybody here with real experience? Stock one is OK while gaming but garbage at %100 usage.
Ответитьslimy bullshit is amd marketing strategy for more than 20 years
ОтветитьThankyou Gaming Computer Man
ОтветитьRunning an 8700k now and I'm getting the 7600 just to get into the AM5 platform
ОтветитьFor a $10 difference would you buy the 7600 or 7600x?
Ответитьit worth or 7600x? (i dont have am4)
Ответить100% believed you !! Thank you ! Saved me from the X 😂😂
ОтветитьWould this be able to stream on Twitch in x264 / 1080P 60FPS on fast / medium ?
ОтветитьOne thing not mentioned here is how the choice of components affects the rating (and thus cost) of the power supply. And also, the electricity usage bill.
ОтветитьMy 5700x draft ended up bein 730€, and my 7600 draft ended up being 850€ so id say prices finally are in a spot that the 120€~ premium is worth it.
ОтветитьI need advice, planing to buy 7600 plus msi b650 pro ATX, but don't know what memory ..
ОтветитьThermals?
Ответитьas a 5600x owner, seeing my little boy get clapped by new gen is absolutely funny. For me, the performance diff between mine and the 7600/x, although huge in some games, especially in FPS titles, it's pretty much negligible when pulling that much frames (unless you're a pro that competes at the top level).
Ответитьhi .with default settings in bios, cpu 7600x at idle runs at 4.00ghz with 2% load is that normal? and why doesnt clock decreased ant stay only at 4.0ghz?
Ответитьmain problem for this line up cpu just motherboard going wait bit longer for them to come down abit still like £/$200+ so going cost around 500 to 600 that just for cpu ram and motherboard its cheap but not cheap anuff to make it worth buying
ОтветитьGoing from AM4 to AM5.
From an 5800x3D to 7900 with 6000mhz ram cost me 150$ extra. Worth it in my opinion.
And this is Mini itx...
For anyone who wants to upgrade and is not coming from AM4 (like me coming from a i7 6700, 2133mhz ddr4 ram and stock cooler)...There's a crazy 7600 + msi b650 mobo combo going in newegg right now for just 325 dollars. That combined with a sp zenith 32gb 5600mhz ddr5 ram kit (97$) and a top tier cheap air cooler like the thermalright pa120 (40~$) se goes for around 460 dollars us total (without taxes). A 5800x3d + new mobo + new ddr4 ram + new cooler would be more expensive, less future proof and less power efficient.
ОтветитьCan you get into the IGPU stats?
ОтветитьJust bought a brand new system. I was literally in the market for a brand new system coming from an old Intel board. What did I go with? AM4. I will stay AM4 for many years and that's due to their poor choices on price for AM5.
ОтветитьJust ordered me a ryzen 5 7600 haven’t watched your video but hope I choose good I couldn’t have went wrong tho
ОтветитьI really wish you'd show 1440p results.
ОтветитьNope. MBs still high a month later
ОтветитьThis would make me mad for just picking up a 7600x, except I got it for $150 on offer up new, missing the box. Guy got it for Christmas and didn't want to upgrade motherboards, so I guess he threw away the box and then sold the cpu?
ОтветитьI finally upgraded my PC... Been happy with my i7-4790k for 10 years, but when I saw a discount for Ryzen 5 7600 combined with discounts for 2x16GB C32 6400MHz DDR5 Fury Renegade + ASUS TUF GAMING B-650-PLUS WiFi at the same time, I couldn't resist... It all cost me $650. Now the funny thing is that the performance of the CPU completely covers my needs, so I made the easiest undervolting - Core voltage: Negative, Auto; SOC voltage: Negative, Auto; Curve Optimizer: -30 and wow - everything is absolutely stable and cool, the CPU throttles from 5150MHz only under OCCT or Prime95 WITH THE STOCK COOLER (to be replaced by guess what - a Hyper 212 Black Edition as soon as those AM5 accessories are ready). I am still fighting the inner battle of having total CPU power of 63W for instance and Tctl/Tdie @ 92°C while the motherboard sensor says the CPU is 56°C, but soon I'll get over it :) As expected, the Renegade runs smoothly @6000MHz DOCP II (DOCP I for some reason gives higher latency). The only thing I hope is that the insane temperatures under the thick lid are really OK for the CPU as AMD insists.
