The first thing cops need to learn it would seem obvious. They are law enforcement, they're not feelings enforcement, and they're not photography monitoring officers, that's not their job, their job is law enforcement. When someone breaks the law, or might be getting ready to break the law. They go out and try to prevent it. Photography has been legal since it's conception in 1804. It's never been ruled illegal in public anywhere in any free country.

A radio call or a dispatch call does not cancel a person's constitutional rights. Sorry about that. Actually, I'm not sorry.

And I did investigate, and he told them he was taking pictures and video on a public sidewalk. So, what's the confusion?

When do you think that the police will realize if all they have when they arrive on scene is public photography and there's no reasonable suspicion of any other activity. The law and it's been ruled on many times even by the Supreme Court, and there's been about 10000 cases, against police officers. Where they've lost their qualified immunity and been sued personally, and in many cases fired. You would think that memo would go through the police departments in America like the wind through a maple tree in midwinter.

Don't make a big deal of it. There's 5 cop cars, probably, at least 8 armed police officers. And this cop says the guy filming in public is making the big deal out of it. Can you rewind that and show me where this guy's making a big deal out of this, compared to the armed police officers? Police officers, 8 of them. 5 cruisers, please explain to these officers who's making the big deal. What a incompetent, unintelligent, ignorant thing to say.

I'm just saying, I've noticed a trend. Most of the officers that you see in these videos where the behavior is not good, they don't look intelligent, you know what I mean. The look and the demeanor of intelligence is not being protected from there, eyes an their mouth. It's the opposite.

Now I've heard from at least one police department. I've heard many of them have this policy. Tell me if yours has this same policy that if you're too intelligent, they will not hire you. That seems like the opposite of what you would want to do.
