ОтветитьDreads are from Shiva and represent the lock of life essence and much more
Also I read a Hindu indentured servant went to Jamaica and showed them the dreadlocks also called Jata and showed them the Ganja
Then it got famous with Bob Marley
Har Har Mahadev
Quetzalcoatl
Her dreads are so luscious
Ответитьdaaaaaaaaaamn gal
Ответитьgreat tutorial for those who want the neo nazi look! thank you :)
ОтветитьThank you for this! My 6 year old has decided he wants dreads, and this has been the easiest explanation I've seen.
ОтветитьI’m going to dreadlock my hair just to piss people off 😅
ОтветитьYou are freaky funny
ОтветитьI just told my bf I want dreads and my hair is down to my ass wow dude this will be very EXPENSIVE
ОтветитьUse a real crochet hook and your results will be way better thats a latch hook
ОтветитьEverything that is emblematic of black culture eventually gets copied. Jamaicans and other peoples of Caribbean descent famously wore their dreads religiously and culturally and now, it's a fad with no recognition or callback to where it was first prominently seen. I remember when yt ppl used to say that dreads were "dirty" looking & a blk person cldnt get a job anywhere with them in. During human trafficking, traffickers cut them off, and it was illegal to have them showing. Not too long ago, a teacher in a school shaved her student's head at a wrestling match for having them. Blk girls still get expelled for wearing their hair this way at some schools. But, if yt ppl wear it, it's cute and a fad with no mention in this video of their history, the consequences or thought of the original ppl who still can't wear them. I'm so over it.🙄
ОтветитьIt just doesn’t look good
ОтветитьWho else is scrolling through the comments to see if it worked 😂😂😂
Ответитьnasty
ОтветитьNever trust a white person with dreads
ОтветитьWatching this so I can be Johnathan Davis
ОтветитьYou teaching is great. Thanks for this. Half of family is white half is black and I do dreads. Only my own hair is harder to do then my black side of the familys hair. I like this method alot.
ОтветитьYou can get the hooks at any store that sells a latch hook
ОтветитьThis is insane and almost insulting. You should know they ARE NOT called dreads or dreadlocks! Leave it alone!
ОтветитьThat's not a crochet hook. It's a latchethook (or rug) hook.
ОтветитьI'm watching because I currently have locs but I have never seen a person with this hair type have locs installed.
ОтветитьThe 'ripping' part is terrible for the hair, damaging the hair shaft. Cool hair style, but not so cool for your hair
ОтветитьPeople are verry crazy ...
ОтветитьTwist & rip your hair up, I’ve seen this video & Ech, it doesn’t look pretty or attractive to me. Esp, when there’s no combing, brushing or washing your hair, ur to leave it alone & end up with tons of dead hairs that create the look. Nope! To each their own.
ОтветитьTwist & rip! Looks yucky in appearance. Like you’re wreaking your little hairs. A mat of hair
ОтветитьDreadlocks?! I finally read how they’re naturally made. Eww! Absolutely no combing, brushing, washing your hair. That’s gross! Would much rather/prefer to keep my hair combed/brushed & properly washed. The idea of leaving hair completely uncared for to achieve this is really unappealing to me. But to each their own. If u like it that’s your choice.
Ответитьnice video, but work technique not right
ОтветитьI want a video on getting that out 😂😂😂
Ответитьwhy would you destroy to get "dreadlocks" if she changed her mind would she be able o come them out and if so her might be really thin..
ОтветитьAs someone who has been dreading my hair for 8 months I started when I was 12 but I got scared but it gets easier
ОтветитьGoodbye hair
ОтветитьIt just looks so filthy .. and it is
ОтветитьI wanted to be educated but got anxiety instead, i wish i could unlearn this 🫣 my hair gets sooooo tangled that i spend so much time conditioning and brushing it to detangle it so to see people putting knots purposely is mentally draining to me
ОтветитьWish i could do my own dreads..
ОтветитьAnother white woman happy to culturally appropriate
ОтветитьI would love to get small dreads, what happens as your hair grows?
ОтветитьI love my dreads .
ОтветитьDreadlocks crochet touching hair is like my recoil force that i dont know to kill versus all the people who know to kill and removing moisture and oil@narendramodi
ОтветитьI just wanted to see if anyone can have dreads if they have long hair
Well got my answer, hope I’ll be able to grow my hair in future to get some good dreads
How tomake dreadlocks 😂😂😂 my hair does this naturally. We cant have shit!!! 🤦🏾♂️
Ответить❤❤
ОтветитьFreeform dreads are the Only way! Its free. Requires no upkeep or maintenance. You also don't have to sit at a salon and have them yank in your hair forever. The only downside is it takes a year or two. Faster depending on your hair type.
ОтветитьThat looks horrible
ОтветитьHell naw
ОтветитьTW WHITE PEOPLE
ОтветитьNot for me but was curious how it's done. There's a guy in my area who's had them for years. They look like long fat coils of felted material. To each his or her own.
ОтветитьDoes this keep length of your hair? I'd like to make a few underneath my hair at the back but worry it would be covered by my hair. Many thanks
ОтветитьNappy headed mess
ОтветитьSo it's basically ruining your hair... Is it pretty ?
ОтветитьI didn’t know it takes this much effort to make dreadlocks
Ответить
