Dan
Plastiprimer first then paint
ОтветитьI did the heat gun method on me old van and bubbled it bad. Wrecked the plastic. More practice.
Ответить* * Damn...what language are you SPEAKING MAN...??? * *
ОтветитьGreat video
How long will the color last?
Fantastic Work, where are you based?
ОтветитьThis video solves a huge problem I’ve always had with black texture trim getting scratched. Thanks! So well explained, however, I’d like to know how permanent is this procedure and if after having been painted could you apply trim restorer to preserve it when faded without removing the layers of paint.
ОтветитьWhat texture paint are you using? I can't find any information about that Pro Tex
Ответитьi was expecting a 2k black over the top of the texture , but i guess if the color out of the can matches already... no reason to make extra work
nice job
Amazing as always 💯👍🔥 thanks for the tips and advice on textured surface repairs
Ответить😅wtf
ОтветитьWhat would you do for internal trim plastics that have their own dimple patterns across that you see on internal plastics?
ОтветитьWhat an amazing repair, it looks totally factory, well done ❤.
ОтветитьWow! Best coating repair channel on YT by a country mile.
ОтветитьOnce finished, rub some baby oil on a rag & wipe over, brings the plastic up a treat 👍
ОтветитьI love your channel! Ive learnt a lot in here and I see you as an artist that I am too. We both share this approach to what we do. Your touch ups and repairs are just stunning. Your heterodox and original approach to fixing paint is stupendous and attainable for people like me. Thanks once again! I will keep watching your videos since they are so cool to watch even if Im not in need of them at the moment :)
ОтветитьGreat insight indeed my friend glad your back im on Holidays in Asia this breaks up the day A1 cheers hope all is good in the UK.
Ответитьthe best of the best master
ОтветитьTop job, thanks for showing this.
ОтветитьGreat video as usual. Straight to the point, I felt like I could just follow along
Ответитьcan you still use a bumper and trim gel over this when detailing?
ОтветитьMaybe they will drive more carefully from now on 😂 Great repair
ОтветитьI just stumble acrros your channel. This is some great info and training. I am a detailer that would like to expand my services. what would you charge for this service? You provide good ideas and inspiration! Keep it up!!!
ОтветитьSo you're not going to apply an adhesion promoter, plastic primer? You know it will flake off in a couple of years but that's not your problem. Bloody armatures.
ОтветитьFirst you should use a wax and silicone remover and wash the area to be repaired before even touching it or you can sand the waxes into the plastic then cause a nightmare when you go to paint it ...
ОтветитьGreat video thanks 🙏🏻 this just happened to my car thanks for saving me some money 💰
ОтветитьWow, this was really cool! I actually replaced some plastic trim on my last car because it was damaged from the previous owner. It wasn't cheap, or fun to replace. I would have liked to have tried this before replacing. Nice work! Thanks for sharing 🍻
ОтветитьMaster at his trade.
ОтветитьI remember changing a load of trim years ago cause it was scratched, if I only watched this video 😂, your videos are brilliant 👏
ОтветитьExcellent again!
Also, what I really like is how succinct and to the point these videos are.
You get these videos, often by Americans, who go on and on for hours because they like the sound of their own voices and who make everything sound like some impossible mystery. Then, by the end (if you last that long), they've actually taught very little.
This is what we like....no mucking about! Great! 👏👏
What an awesome repair! 👏👏👏
ОтветитьTiptop man
ОтветитьThat’s an unbelievable result.
ОтветитьYour videos are brilliant! There's not song and dance bullshit. It's straight to the point. The repairs you have shown are "common" everyday damage and you have shown how they can be repaired simply without any special tools. I'll be using some of these techniques with the cars at work. So happy I discovered your channel.
ОтветитьGreat stuff! I have a bmw645ci with a small split on the front wing from a fixing bolt at the top. Apparently a common problem with these plastic wings. Is it possible to repair?
Ответитьfantastic, really helpful too, thanks
ОтветитьThis is a brilliant channel. No BS, just straight into useful info
ОтветитьThat is simply staggering many thanks for sharing, I had no idea those plastics could be sanded and repaired
ОтветитьOutstanding repair.
ОтветитьVery informative, nice finish top job 👍
ОтветитьFrance or Uk, this guy is the best
ОтветитьSuch a simple fix, thanks for sharing this. Will be doing this on all my cars as thy all have at lest one bit that needs sorting.
ОтветитьBrilliant stuff, as usual . Thank you for sharing.
ОтветитьJust use bumper spray. Much easier. Right texture.
ОтветитьGreat job
ОтветитьFab as usual, my neighbours old Citroen Berlingo Van could do with some TLC, will show him this and I will give it a go!
