It's always someone with a negative comment something must not be going so well for you misery loves company it's sad when you try to put other people down because of your miserable life

I wanna add my story…
It’s was 2021, myself and my friend Brett, went out to the woods in my car, looking for something supernatural. For a little more background it was Dec. in Montana. So it was cold and there was snow, not so much going in towards what we call the stacks, or the chimneys, as there used to be cabins up there, and all that was left of them were the chimneys. Anyway, up at the chimneys the snow got deep. Like up to my waist deep. Well there’s only 2 ways to that spot. The way we came in, and where the snow was so deep, there was no way anyone could get through that way. So I turned the car around as soon as I could find a spot with not so much snow. On our way back out, all the sudden in my 50-75 yard line of my headlight view, there was what appeared to be an old man, who just appeared in the middle of the road. He was all hunched over, and as we got closer to him, he started looking younger. We have guns in the car, visible. So I pull up, and ask if he needs help. It’s 28 or 29 degrees outside. Also it’s about a quarter to 6 am. So I pulled over, the guy comes to my window, wearing what looks like a one piece polyester running suit. He had patches of hair on his head, hair down to his really long fingers and finger nails, he had like fangs, like someone who had chewed all their life, and he had no coat, socks, shoes, hat, gloves, nothing!! He wasn’t even phased about the temperature. We offered him a ride with us back to town, however he wanted either a ride 2miles in the direction I just came from , or a beer. Well I explained to him that you can’t go 2 miles back that way because of the snow, not only that, but there’s nothing 2 miles back that way anyway, besides trees, or he wanted a beer, which I told him also we did not have. After about ten minutes of telling him that we can’t go that way, or don’t have any beer, he says if we can give him a ride or a beer, he’d give us a place to crash. We said again we can’t help him, and about that time it occurred to us that there was no broke down vehicles on the road, and no reason for him to be there. We offered again to take him to town with us, he said no he was good. Well as I pulled away, I looked back in my rearview mirror and he had vanished just as he appeared!!

2 sad takeaways from a lot of these stories:
1. Some people are very lonely and mentally ill. They need help before even being in society because they're ticking time bombs. I mean, getting a gun because a Doordash driver accidentally drops your drink and even offers to replace it? Wtf?!
2. Most of us are raised to pretty much be nice to people unless they're mean to us, so we might entertain an unsafe person longer than we need to just to be polite. With all the crazy stuff going on in the world, I've still been polite, but I set boundaries more now. Like, when a neighbor I didn't know asked for a ride to the gas station. I had to lie and say I had to get back in the house to take medicine, which isn't a total lie since I take medicine. Remember, you're not obligated to do anything with anyone no matter how nice they seem and if you don't want to hurt feelings or awkwardly say "how can I trust you're not a rapist/murderer?", do like I did and make an excuse.
