He was taken to the hospital? Did he go to jail? They made it seem that "all's well that ends well". Then the wife was going to take him for everything that he was worth. The police officer saw all the money in the suitcase and an open safe with an unconscious man on the bed and nobody went to jail? Absolutely absurd!

We don't see from the story that he cheated on her, he flirted and harassed the housekeeper but never physically abused anyone... and the two of them attacked him physically, hurt him and robbed him!? "Interesting" story point...
