Raiders are capitalist
Minute men are socialist
Well, aren’t you a goodly two shoes based on that ending speech
ОтветитьOxhorn’s end of video comments hit hard in 2023.
ОтветитьWould've been cool if after the good ending the minutemen take Nuka world and it becomes a massive useable workshop
ОтветитьI always go with wiping raiders out but not before all lands and claimed. I also don't give territories any ot the gangs.
Ответитьi wish you could turn Nuka World into a theme park again and it would become populated with people after Open Season. it just stays a basic ghost town
ОтветитьSo in other words....The Raiders are socialist tyrants (as if there was any other type). Impose their will, take what they want from the weak, and make everyone who is not in a position of power, a mere vassal.
ОтветитьKill everyone and bang synths.🤯😱😂
ОтветитьThe settlers supplying the raider settlements could just poison the food and water and that’ll wipe out the raiders or weaken them enough to where they could take back the settlement.
ОтветитьI agree about hating the Disciples. They act so uppity and have their eyes covered. They look so stupid when in reality they should be bumping into walls. They try so hard to look cool but it just doesn't work.
The Operators at least have class and the Pack are cool cause they are like a bunch of clowns.
Its worth noting that if you hadnt already cleared the place, it kinda becomes a threeway battle between the rebels, your gang, and the ghouls.
Ответить"They want what they want and they want it now."
Sounds a lot like Sheogorath worshippers descriped in Morrowind.
Seriously? Raiders are 'chaotic good''? Would really like to hear the mental gymnastics behind that assertion. Might make for a good laugh.
ОтветитьEvery time I watch the Nuka World videos, I laugh a little at “Savory” when his name is Savoy lol
Ответитьwell we always wanted a 5th faction
ОтветитьNot gonna skip that sweet sweet general hat. Lol gonna get it and then become the god king
ОтветитьI took all of Preston’s stuff, gave him some rags to wear and sent him to murk water construction with nothing there at all, the game is so much more peaceful that way
ОтветитьTrust me I don’t like being a raider but… I get guns and Preston won’t talk to me that’s a dream come true
ОтветитьNot gonna lie I finally played nuke world this year & I tell y’all I just start attacking all the raiders 😭🚬🥃
ОтветитьThere will always be raiders and criminals in the Commonwealth, better the devil you know
ОтветитьLol my last playthrough I just did the original settlers quest then turned it in then killed all the settlers and cleared the land, told Preston to follow me and moved him by himself to the swamp settlement and cause there were no settlements left alive he didn't have anymore quest to give me, I also shut off the castle radio after that quest was done. Didn't need to do nuka world at all.
ОтветитьThank you so so much Oxhorn! Do you even know how much you're giving us? Your in-depth videos are supreme, the games already great you can bring up to another level.
I've found yet another 'life' with all FO:s since I found your channel, Thank you again and God bless you!
I give the disciples nothing, almost done clearing shit and will kill all of them soon. We are the MinuteMen.
Ответить6 years later, im just now working on the Raider achievements. Calling them children isnt too far off, as they literally won't lift a finger to feed themselves. The amount of work you have to put into a proper vassal settlement is crazy.
ОтветитьI had to look this up because I wanted to do a raider ending, hoping that after all the settlement conquest there'd be some kind of raider institute raid. but the reason I'm here looking it up instead is because I walked into nuka world and just decided to choose violence
ОтветитьSo if I start raiding, Preston won't talk to me any more? OMG that sounds better than the perks you get!
ОтветитьI played the dlc after capturing all the settlements. So I had to fight against my own settlements since I built a lot of defense in them so couldn't really convince them to leave. Honestly so fun destroying your own settlement
ОтветитьI dunno what the bad ending is.
I killed everyone even the faction I supported.
You have to kill them if you want Preston to be with you
ОтветитьYou made my therapy for today thank you
ОтветитьIf you think about it Preston is a raider he sends one person out to do is dirty work while he puts his feet up doing nothing instead of taking resources he takes people he gives them this false sense of hope that they can be a army when there nothing but settlers then he sends them to there grave to die you can't tell me those settlers can actually put against the instatute
ОтветитьI don’t care what you say, the nukaworld raiders are based as hell
ОтветитьThe fact that someone tired to make a point Raiders are chaotic good just goes to show someone will always go against what's considered normal thought process lol
Ответитьi do any quests that give me xp lol if you choose to go with evil path on nuka world then u get more xp than clear everyone and everything out
ОтветитьThe pack and disciples are strong
The operators are weak I mean I like caps but I like murder better and the pack is just cool
The morality is unneeded. The morality is obvious but it is a game.
ОтветитьGood Ending
- free the traders of Nuka World by destroying the raider gangs & Porter Gage; on one hand, you get to be the hero -- but on the other, you essentially lock yourself out of the majority of the DLC.
Bad Ending
- join the raider gangs and establish yourself as The Over-Boss/"Raider Emperor" of the Commonwealth; on one hand, you gain a slew of new content, but you'll be alienating yourself from the Minutemen and any factions that you make your enemies.
As for me, I'll just go with... The Smart Ending
- avoid Concord and focus on grinding to level 30 to start the DLC, then go through the whole DLC, all the way until you complete the last mission to take out the one raider gang that rebels against you. Stick with the gangs you sided with until you eventually squeeze out as much as you can or want from them (perks, loot, etc.), and then kill off the remaining gangs to liberate the traders. When all is said and done, you come out with two great perks (of your choice), a whole bunch of good loot, and you will still be able to join the Minutemen.
My character is the BOS Sentinel, were already a raider gang. I just dropped the pretenses
ОтветитьHello nice video and solid reasoning; I will give you that, but I have to admit in my own runs I've done I avoided Garbage like the plague until I've completed Nukaworld (which I find 100x more fun, Redeye more entertaining than stuttering/confident Trevor and the excitement of the raiders at the restored park refreshing and their independence off of you to defend them from every cough, fart and sneeze that plagues the Commonwealth as well as not being stupid enough to get kidnapped; absolutely EVERYTHING I'VE HOPED FOR WHEN I STARTED THEIR QUESTS)
That being said what annoys me more than anything is I put in my resources to get them armoured to the teeth and the armour VANISHES!
All that and you are still the butler, you can't replace Garbage nor wipe out the minutemen also no progress in the Commonwealth as a whole nor does the army do anything worthwhile except try to steal your power armour. Mayhaps I am evil in that regard but I am no babysitter either, I've watched all my attempts at trying to improve the settlers go down the drain far too many times.
Dude gave us a lecture about how raiders are bad lol I mean sure what they do is bad but they're not unstable they're sitting in possible one of the biggest fortifications of a amusement park they have extreme numbers there's 3 parties all under 1s rule and they withhold a major supply line in various selections. To me that's just the explanation of a Government. And with them being so well funded and so numbered they could very easily get done what they need done. Lose a slave buy a slave all countries are built on slaves in a technical sense the raiders really aren't any different. So in mho the raiders aren't weak or set to fail they're set to rebuild eastern US but in a much less friendly manor.
ОтветитьShank is like an evil version of Preston Garvey.
ОтветитьWhat if in the raider settlements you build robots to farm the food? Would that count or
ОтветитьI think the operators are the best hope for the commonwealth in terms of progress. It is a feudal system built on the backs of slaves, but they are the ONLY faction that provide that organizational structure to build on. The minutemen are nothing more than mercs for farmers. They are a voluntary militia and because they are voluntary, the minuetmen don't actually hold up. All it takes is a high ranking member to go against what the minutemen stand for and they fall apart. It happened once before you become general and if you side with the raiders, it happens again. The minutemen do not provide any change to the commonwealth, the settlements you help do not become your settlements, they stay the farmers who allow you to be there. There is no organized governmental structure under the minutemen, things continue as they have before you ever leave the vault. As is the case with the other 3 major factions too. However, the nuka world raiders provide an organized hierarchy that can be built and expanded upon. The operators are the best choice simply because they are the lesser evil of the two and their goal of making caps is the most in line with paving the way for progress. The Pack just wants to party, they aren't much interested in building anything so long as they have the means to do that, and the disciples just want bodies to cut up, which should be a big red flag as a slave has no use if they are dead.
ОтветитьI just kill them all with the Nuka Nuke.
ОтветитьI already got United We Stand from Preston. I'm done with him. I'm the Overboss now and I'm staying with it
ОтветитьThe only thing close to justifying this ending is to roleplay as someone who thinks that the minutemen and the settlements are so complacent that they have to be reminded that there will always be threats to come. In my playthrough i never killed any of my settlers. I simply convinced them without the grenades.
Edit: after ending the main questline for this DLC, I eliminated them all with the help of my automatron robot.
The raiders are doing the same thing that our real world governments do. If you want to live in their territory (and under their protection), you need to pay your taxes.
The Minutemen wait until something terrible happens to a settlement before offering protection (and taking their tribute). They know the settlers won't survive without protection, so they give them the illusion of choice. Once the settlement agrees to join the Minutemen, they can take all of their stuff and force them off the land. The raiders are straight with them from the get-go and leave armed guards to ensure that the settlers are protected and compliant.
i'm confused. If i share the parks unbalanced i also get the powerplay ending but without doing jack in the commonwealth
