I get that FSU’s snub was the talk of the town, but I feel like you could’ve at least mentioned the growth Alabama had, going from 2-1 and looking dead against USF to beating Georgia for the SEC Championship. This is SEC Shorts, after all.

I am interested in seeing the fallout if FSU wins the Orange Bowl and a one-loss team wins the CFP.

FSU is about the only team in existence I despise more than UNC. But I am now forced to defend them.
When watching the game, the ESPN commentators were obviously spouting off "Talking Points" as early as the beginning of the game. About how FSU might not make the cut. Then about how the quarterback was not good enough. I knew then that the decision had already been made.

May favorite scenario will be if Texas wins the CFP and FSU defeats Georgia in the peach bowl. Then let them figure out the Champion.

The fact is the real committee - which I despise college football has been judged like figure skating for 100+ years - correctly thought that Florida State would be another TCU. Alabama is a more talented team.

SEC bias… Fans need to realize they are being entertained through the Alabama invitational for profit, not watching a playoff, the winner is merely the winner of the invitational, not the national champion. THERE WILL BE NO NATIONAL CHAMPION for the 2023 season. Don’t they always say, “Defense wins championships??” Oh, unless your QB 1 is injured. Yes, this is SEC bias in a year when the ACC beat the SEC 6 -4 and has more bowl eligible teams,11, than 9 bowl eligible for the Big12, Big10, or the WEAKER SEC. FSU beat #5 LSU on the road early, and Florida on the road w/ FSU's #2 QB. Bama did NOT do everything to win, by the FACT that they have one loss to Texas. FSU won their ACC Championship with a 3rd string QB by double digits. How does an undefeated ACC champion lose out to the 1 loss weaker SEC champion, who barely beat out Arkansas at home with Bamas 1st String QB, by merely 3 points, 1/3 of the margin of victory that FSU had beating a top 15 team while starting their 3rd string QB. CFP is officially an SEC proxy, co-owned with ESPN by Disney. CFP is an abbreviation for Corruption for Profit. Disgusting ruling, compared to the heart of a champion FSU displayed all year on the field. Results matter, put FSU in, and remove Alabama. Ohio State should be # 5, they lost to the current #1 Michigan. If not, Corruption for Profit is telling all of college football that the regular season is irrelevant without a payoff to them. If any playoff QB gets injured in practice, then FSU takes their place, somehow? What sense does that make, that clearly should never be a criteria for the playoffs. FSU maintained their rank, #4 (#3 when you realize Georgia didn’t earn it). CFP is legally liable for additional security on every QB in the playoff, their foolish decision has placed a bounty on every QB in the playoff between now and the first game. Without removing Alabama, this years invitational winner is disqualified due to CFP incompetence… call it the Alabama invitational because it most certainly is NOT a playoff. The talking heads don't feel bad for FSU, they are lining their pockets for being biased toward Bama and the SEC. Florida State Seminoles, the heart of a champion!!!

I could live with FSU not getting in though it made no sense but Daniels winning the heisman was ridiculous.

I'm an SEC guy. A Gator fan. However, I think Florida State should be in the CFP. They did go undefeated and won their conference. Do I think they would have beat Michigan, Washington, Texas or Alabama. Absolutely not, because of the injury to their star QB, and the performance of their back up QBs in the last two games. But, the committee still should have allowed them to prove they belong.

The culmination of the SEC season is the SEC championship game. It's been 9 days and still no take on it? Wtf is wrong with you? UNSUB.

You all played NO ONE this year. Almost got beat by BC and several other terrible teams even with your starting QB. You would have been EMBARRASSED in the first round had you been let in. You'll get your shot to prove you should have been in come Jan. 1st... But you'll be embarrassed again.
