Beautiful song!
ОтветитьAwesome.down to earth tutorial!
ОтветитьThank you so much for your guide about the Mastering. But I'm a bit confused because I saved my project with all the plugins I loaded. After reopening it I found just my File and all the effects or plugins were gone. that means I have to start again from zero. Is it how it works? Thanks.
ОтветитьI watch this often and may have commented before...I am not ready for mastering but I really think this info helps me to mix better. Thanks, Mike! 💜
ОтветитьWell done!
ОтветитьSo how to use the project function in studio one with external plug ins for every single stage? 😂 maybe I’m just lazy but that’s a turnoff in a tutorial like this
ОтветитьGreat tutorial as always. I noticed there was no reverb in the mastering chain. I always thought you may need that in small amounts to glue everything together. Tnx.
Ответитьthanks for the video … so i record all my tracks, export to wav file THEN master it?
is that right? thanks
Thank you, this is great work. You're a natural teacher.
ОтветитьGood classes
ОтветитьDo you automate the limiter for quieter parts, to match -14LUFS?
Ответитьwhere are all the links???
ОтветитьIf you want a steeper roll off than the stock plugin can do, you can stack multiple instances of the EQ on the bus to get it as steep as you want.
ОтветитьThanks for another great video. I'm jumping back on the wagon after ten years because of kids, and they're helping me a lot.
ОтветитьThis was a great and informative video Mike. I watch you a lot and learn a great deal of things from you. Please continue to make more videos like this one. Thanks again.
ОтветитьStudio pro 6 has many upgrades and now have processing in these areas which im sure you know by now.
Would you be willing to make a current video with pro 6 version. Thank you for your videos with your wisdom in mastering with Presonus.
Awesome video Thank you! (liked & subscribed!)
Ответитьalso the song is really beautiful
Ответитьthis was so valuable :D thank you! <3
ОтветитьDo you have a link to a tutorial on using the Kotelnikov compressor by Tokyo Dawn Labs? Thanks so much.
Ответитьwhy you put tonal plugins in master section and other effects plugins in inserts . is there any specific reason to put plugins at different places .
ОтветитьCan you cover how to master mp3 or audio files that were t recorded in studio one. I’ve recorded many songs and saved them to audio files while on the road and I need to master them when I get home on studio one.
ОтветитьExcellent video my frined.
ОтветитьGreat stuff
ОтветитьWhat is EAC and ISRC?
ОтветитьMichael, I do appreciate your videos. I have Studio One Artist. My question is you are working in Professional and in Artist I do not see a project option in the upper Right. I am recording a song for my daughters wedding that she requested. I am running out of time so this is why I am sending this urgent message. I have watched at least 5 of your videos and I have subscribed. You said no question is stupid. So what I need to know currently is how do I burn to CD from Artist? I also was perplexed when I did a mixdown and it completed I could not open the file. It says no file existed. Please assist or someone from your team please assist... Thank you!!
ОтветитьYou can't really call it mastering in studio one when so many of your plugins aren't stock plugins
ОтветитьNo volume automation into this video? Thats crucial for mastering!
ОтветитьNice one. Enjo means"to assist" in Japanese. You have assisted us here mate!
ОтветитьI wish you'd make a video on mastering in Studio One Artist. A lot of people have that version, but it doesn't have a project window. So while there is possible to master in the Artist version it has to be done outside the project window and there aren't any tutorials out there for mastering that way. BTW, a very nice video on mastering, though it's only for the people who own the Pro version!
ОтветитьThank you, this really made mastering make sense.
ОтветитьHow do you route your track to hardware outboard gear ..then print track bk into studio one mastering
ОтветитьAll good
Ответитьgreat tips, great tutorial , thanx
ОтветитьThanks for this video, new subber! Great content, I love S05!
ОтветитьJeez, it seems like every step uses a 3rd party plug in. I thought mastering was more about making multiple tracks sound congruous.
Ответитьthere is stereo imaging in so1 - Binaural Pan, if im not mistaken
ОтветитьThanks Mike, I have been musing over mastering for some time as an amateur music creator. I was chuffed when I saw you used the Isotope software as I have just managed to get a copy of Isotope 9. This video was so educational and easy to understand in a world where mastering can be like herding cats! Now I just need to settle on a DAW. I have been using Reaper for a couple of years but am now looking to change that due to some recent glitches where the DAW would just shut down.....not great when I realise I have not saved in a while (another good lesson lol). The Presonus Studio One V5 looks perfect to assist me moving forward; and with some great stock plugins too! Thanks again for taking time to make these great educational videos. Awesome! :)
ОтветитьI was under the impression that years ago radio djs played records or “vinyl” . Am I wrong about this , if I’m not wrong there would be no difference between vinyl and radio
ОтветитьLiked anyway but I would have liked just cause we all got told off for watching this on our phones... 😂😂😂
Ответить-25Hz? :) some Rhythm reference right there?
ОтветитьI learned a lot from this, thanks Mike!
ОтветитьThis was really helpful. thank you so much.
ОтветитьYour wife from ph ?
ОтветитьThis gonna make me millions 🙏🏽 thank you
ОтветитьGreat video. Many thanks for the lesson.
ОтветитьGreat video!
But can't you automate things like gain on mastering?
