Setup Azure Monitor Diagnostics for Linux Virtual Machine using Terraform

EPISODE 38
In this episode, we'll continue our journey in crushing Newbie Wizards in the Azure Portal. This time, we'll be taking on our Linux Virtual Machine's Diagnostic Settings. We'll learn how to use the Portal to gain valuable insights into how it provisions resources using ARM Templates and we'll take that learning to the task of setting up a Virtual Machine Extension for Azure Monitor Diagnostics for Linux.

We'll also create a module that setups up the Virtual Machine Extension. We'll see how we can convert JSON payloads into HCL object structures to make them more readable and maintainable and we'll use JSON Encode to convert HCL objects into JSON strings for use with our Azure Resources.
