My mom taught me to knit this way.. Russian here.. why doesn't everyone knit like that? Lol
ОтветитьYou saved my hands by adopting this method. Thank you. ❤
ОтветитьI have knitted this way naturally for years didn’t know the name of it
ОтветитьMy knitting gets very tight when I pick from the finger like Arne.
ОтветитьMe too! I’ve learned to knit this way and watching your technique made it a little easier! Thanks!
ОтветитьThe music is out of its world😢❤and watching you knit 🧶🌟
ОтветитьNever heard of it being called "Norwegian", thats just normal knitting🤔
ОтветитьTHAT is EXACTLY how I taught myself how to knit - 50 years ago! I'd tried the English style - many times - and failed each time, I believe due to a short right forefinger. Then I just watched some old ladies of my church knitting, for hours, then blundered along, apparently BACKWARDS, until I found a way to make things work!
I was pregnant with my first, and had desperately determined to knit my baby a blanket before he/she was born. Finished all the tie-off of loose ends during the afternoon of 18 June, 1970; the babe, a gorgeous, red-curly-haired girl child with "rosebud lips", arrived the next afternoon!
That’s how I taught myself to knit. Must be my Norwegian heritage shining through! It’s a very easy way.
ОтветитьChopin to knit by? Excellent idea. I played this piece when I was younger. My hands are too crippled to even knit any more but I love to watch you knit!
ОтветитьYou mean all this time I have been knitting Norwegian style but didn’t know it! 🙃
ОтветитьI love these shorts!! They really are great. And the music!
ОтветитьI need to learn this
ОтветитьAre you holding the tail of the working yarn against the fabric or the needle and how do you maintain that grip when you reach the end of the row?
ОтветитьNow I need to look at how it's held otherwise. This is how I naturally hold mine...
ОтветитьI knit the same way. So much faster than the way my mom knits she throws her yarn.
ОтветитьI just can’t seem to do that, but I do like the Norwegian purl!
ОтветитьKan du vise på vrangstrikk også? Jeg gjorde det feil og strikket vridd, men syns det er så knot å gjøre det riktig. Tips?
ОтветитьI picked this up from one of your older videos and I'm so thankful for teaching me this. It makes knitting so much more enjoyable.🤗
ОтветитьThank you Arne! You are a real master.
What I need to see is how to throw the second color. I am still working off of 2 yarns on the finger.
My dears teaching how use the needles for shocks
ОтветитьThank you. Those gorgeous colors, wow 🤩
ОтветитьOooh keen to try this thanks 😻
ОтветитьI love those colours.
ОтветитьIt looks so fast! I mean you get a lot done quickly
ОтветитьThanks to you, I've been knitting this way for months & love it!
ОтветитьAls always, easy eksplained. ❤Klaverstykket der blev brugt til filmen Elvira Madigan, med den smukke svenske Pia Degermark ihovedrollen.
