Had a single tube fm xmiter out put? About 250. Mills had a home made turn table/ real to real and a mike and in the baracks never went w/beer. hi hi. Copy right police never came.

looking on the transistor flat side facing me - it's EBC from left to right. some pinouts are CBE. mine are EBC but looking on the pictures compared to the schematics it looks like those in the project are CBE. please help. can't tune it. the i've soldered it there's voltage between collector and emitter. can't find it on sdr.

Nice project. Now we have to build receiver for it. Also adding push button to transmitter would make it closer to Walkie Talkie :)
I just wander if there are any regulations that would make using this kind of pirate radio illegal on FM frequencies?

I have some projects planned for the new year and I believe I may just incorporate this one into one or two of those projects. Back to the drawing board.

And yes, I've seen this before in magazines during the 70s and 80s. One of my teachers built a baby monitor using a transmitter during the 60s and he built a few more for his wife's friends when they were impressed with it. Unfortunately, the frequency was a tad off and the local police station was getting signals on their frequency. He had to round up all the units and dismantle them or he would have faced charges. I can still hear him chuckling with an amused look on his face while he told us about this.

I like the pcb board part better they make alot better ways to spy, I learned by watching a guy that was to nosey liked listen in to people, I only would use with Bluetooth to listen to inside my home when gone

That was very clever the way u made ur own printed circuit board like that. So that 9volt battery provided enough power to drown out the broadcast station in the vicinity of ur house-awesome!

I used to build his things when I was a teenager like you. But I used to make the antennas a lot longer than that. At one time I ended up bugging my sister’s House across the street about four houses down. What I did was I hooked up the antenna to the copper strip that seals the front door sometimes front doors have a copper strip around them to keep the air from coming in and out. And it worked flawlessly

While this now an ancient reply, new electronics hobbyists should start out at square one with not using a screwdriver for the tuning of circuitry. There are a number of technical as well as safety reasons for this, and while using a screwdriver to adjust the tuning of this transmitter may happen to work with this circuit, as you may advance to more critical projects the need for a proper tuning tool will become increasingly important.
While not very expensive, such a tool or set of these tools need to be in your kit for present and future work.
