i have a massive mess because i use a macbook pro and an imac. and i use them interactively on a regular basis.. the macbook goes on the road with me, the imac. how can i use them properly with one external drive.....??

no it basically deletes a duplicate link to the song not the song file

is it possible to delete all the duplicate songs in one time?

I used an app called Tune Sweeper to remove literally thousands of duplicates from my iTunes. Worked perfectly!

The Trash can on your computer... It will be removed from your iTunes library so that you only have 1 copy of each song.

Where will the music go now??

anyone, please...somehow i've duplicated the entirety of my music collection. 24gig worth of duplicates. i can't possibly delete the duplicates one by one, or using the control option. is there any way to do an en masse deletion of duplicates? it's not a memory problem, memory is so inexpensive. it's just so annoying. any help would be incredibly appreciated! tyvm.

I'm confused: The main reason I need to delete all duplicates is to create more space in my computer and to make my computer run faster. If I use this method, the files are still on my laptop and taking up the same space, right?

EXACTLY.. THIS IS THE PROBLEM SOMEONE NEEDS TO SHOW US HOW TO DELETE DUPLICATES WHEN YOU HAVE 1,000 DUPLICATES!!

I have hundreds of duplicates I haven't got time to go through every one, i think everyone knows hows how to delete a few songs so this vid is useless
