KDE dev REACTS to GNOME 45!

KDE needs a built-in app like gnome-display-manager to screen share to tv's and the like. I use my system for everything, but it's a shame that this is missing. The fact that I have to install half of gnome just to share my screen is rediculous.

What is up with the performance of your VM?

OpenSUSE Tumbleweed got ot just 2 Days after Gnome 45 was released.
Keep in mind when you take a look at Gnome 46 😉

Gnome is getting too minimal. If the apps have little to no decent functionality and the desktop environment doesn't even offer minimise and maximize buttons out of the box, why even bother using a desktop environment? Just use a tiling manager. At least it doesn't eat your RAM :-D.

You should ask for donations in order to buy a new laptop so that you can do heavier work and supply potential virtual machines with more resources.

Opensuse standard boring default apps...

I love the idea of watching you do reaction videos but this was painful to watch.

1. Please use a faster machine to do the reaction
2. Always keep the videos under 17 minutes. 15 is best and 17 min i'm going to really debate myself if I want to spend that time.
3. Keep reaction short and concise. Show the object then short comment, show next item then concise comment. We know you are stalling because your machine was too slow

Don't get me wrong. I'm not saying this sucked and I don't want to watch your videos. I'm saying the oposite. I love you , your personality and your choice of content and I want to see the video that I KNOW you ARE capable of with these simple quick fixes.

Looking forward to MORE reaction videos. I love this theme of content.

If you're going to try something at least give it a fair shake on bare metal. Actually run it. I don't care how it works in your crappy virtual machine.

You should have chosen Fedora beta ISO, it works pretty fast and they also included the new apps in the default setup.

Works already well on Gentoo.

Anyways, you don't "click" on them at all. That's just a VM thing and really, really annoying that they don't support hot corners.

When will KDE make the scrollbar overlay like Gnome? A hard scrollbar is terrible in 2023. (Same complaint about Chrome/Chromium, but that would be off-topic).

Man atleast try to make a decent running desktop before you try to "react to it," or is this on purpose since you are KDE dev, (trying to make gnome look as awfull as possible before you review?) 😃 before any moron try to say aanything, i use xfce.

Did you run this in standalone qemu and forgot to enable KVM virtualization (thus emulating an x86 CPU in software)? Because that's how slow it looks

its pretty fast gnome 45 mb is laggy because you are on a vm i write 1+1 on search and was instant
