i do something like this, but instead i do a certain motion at reminds me of the set of words. how does it remind me? while i’m saying the set of words, i do the motion. so it’s kinda like deja vu in a sense

1040 no. That too in half an hour... That cannot be done via simple method of Loci... U need to first memorise 1040 items in your house in right order first. And then assign those 1040 no. To 1040 items in right order in 30 minutes. 30*60 =1800... This is like assigning all the numbers to its respective item in 1-2 seconds and then move on to next item and keep this repetition for 30 minutes. Try doing that just for 2 minutes. U will know how hard it is even with good practise.

(I used a song to memorize the digits of pie)

I’ve learned about this in English class because we had to memorize 40 words, and from a interview here are the steps-

-imagine the thing you want to memorize as a object. The weirder the better
Example(it doesn’t have to be language idk what else to do) : の- looks like a hand.

- place the image in a familiar place.

Example- a hand on the carpet

- imagine yourself walking through the building with the objects in it.

-idk if there’s anything else??

I uses this technique... but for a book.
As in, for Biology, I memorise the color pattern of the textbook and the place where certain topics at (end of page, extreme right inside a blue box, start of page with a green box below it)
