The new strategies work because:
1. early game ganking got a lot more unpredictable. The 3.30 and 5.20 timers are not set in stone anymore.
2. Grubs spawn at the 5 min mark and they do way too much damage for too little gold/xp. Chosing to play passive in hopes to contest them puts you at a huge disadvantage.
3. Perma ganking bot has become more rewarding than ever since junglers can't even hope to keep up with top in XP this season.

Buddys. Children. The issue is wen people dont understand the amount you are losing by doing a one side clear into that dive. You dont just fking do this every game no matter what. A player who doesnt understand this then completely destroys the early game for your team. Please have some respect for the game and learn.
P.s. starting in your enemy jungle is also fking absolutely AWFUL no matter what. Im not going to explain. Just use your fucking brain

Been doing this since day one after seeing the changes to the map. It works…enough. But as a JG you have to be aware you will be behind lvl wise. So gotta make it worth it.

I doubt this route can work if I am playing shyv, a champ that has neither cc or dash to execute this route

I cannot believe they did this to the map. Blue side already had a huge advantage they made it EVEN EASIER to win fro blue Side. If your side doesn’t get first pick in champ select, and your team comp is anything other than perfect just dodge, literally. You’re gonna lose on red side.

Challengers are more risk taking and confident in tower dives lvl 2-3. Low elo is more of low risk taking because junglers aren't confident in themselves and more importantly their teams. Even if a low elo jungler succeeds in a dive, that 1 or 2 kills you give bot means nothing when they lose lane regardless.

I guess one reason ganking is so strong right now is due to the changes being fairly new and players not being accustomped to the new terrain yet, so when the season gets longer players will probably be aware more of the gank timers and routes

This pathing was always good as the average botlaner is really only thinking about getting 2 first and trying to get a kill, sums, or at least an HP advantage. Most bot laners know certain junglers are cheesy, like they might respect the lvl 2 j4 gank, shaco, nunu etc but if you're not one of those champs 95 percent of the time you'll catch them completely with their pants down and just outright win bot's lane at level 2. This is also giga tilting.

hm idk. im not that much into jungle mind games, but i think its more of a gambling than vertical jungling. it really depends on the pick so it doesnt work that well in solo q and you can almost always hide somewhere as a toplane or botlane to make a look lke youre leashing. or you can really just leash and make your jungler counter the other one without leashing

It's nice but over here in Silver elo people are way too wildly inconsistent to us these kind of if-this-then-that flowchart tactics.

I think riot wants tanks in the JG and they are buffing for that but not thinking how it will affect the best champs in the role.

Aside from just terrain and JG changes, there are some more minor things to look at across the champion and item changes from the new season
For example, a lot of early game junglers got significantly better component and first item power spikes, The primerst example being Xin and tiamat, So having an early game jungler whose weakness before was his mediocre clear speed now being able to do one brief mediocre clear into a near secured kill into backing for the item that mitigates his clear issues significantly helps his snowball get rolling. In fact, a lot of the new items and build paths are so strong that getting to those items quicker, the literal definition of snowballing in this game, is a higher priority

As far as I can tell, the high elo jungle Meta game, as always, is just very snowballing. Capitalizing, some might even say abusing, that snowball with early ganks and invades was always the plan, but now that it's better with terrain changes and the snowball is just bigger in general, they would have to change a lot to make this not the preferred route

I prefer full clearing 5 times and early ff, insulting my teammates in the process

Jungle camps, gold & exp been nerfed so much that they're basically support 2 now. Why farm camps when you can perma gank and still not miss out on a lot. That's why you see more ganks every game now.

Guys, there is a HUGE misconception about this video. YES, low elo Teammates are often times bad enough not to react to the correct pings and therefore make the shown play unavailable for you. Now that is a concept you should always apply. If you see someone is not following your call and you know you need them for the play to work, abort it. Deviate from it. Make a different play. That is in the end what League is about. Adapting in seconds and having a plan B,C and D! This video simply showcases one of the options.

Thats why i hate the new updates on map, its not fair for red bot as iam main ADC.

There is 1 little problem. In plat/emerald the teammates are still blind, and they dont buy controll wards, nor they wont follow you as jg. My ping are worthless too, they are ignore them.

a j4 that ganked me just before i hit lvl 2 and again just before i hit lvl3!
i flashed and escaped the first one.. got a double kill on the second one :P
