Playing pirates is op but cringe because there is no automated raiding. I once attempted pirate Japan but it was so cringe to raid everything manually. Like no thanks I’d rather just do Oda>Japan

I like these coop campaigns, but if I may, consider switching back and forth between you two POV's when you are talking about something happening in your country. Not constantly, but the occasional shot from the other person's screen could be nice.

ive got an idea for a team challenge. one of you starts a brittany the other as korea and your goal is to make expand through eurasia to make your borders touch as quick as possible.
(no new world. all provinces need to be connected to the capitol by owned land.)

I agree with Gotland being a playable nation at the start. Just being a pirate in EU4 is hella fun and the baltic area is pretty unique for being a pirate nation
