Sojourn the Solo VTT on DMSGuild is well worth the $10.
ОтветитьWhy would you have the posters from the sequels on your wall voluntarily?! They’re not Star Wars.
Ответитьyikes.
just use roll20 people...
this guy probably got banned from roll20, that's why he doesn't wanna use roll20.
with roll20 you can do what he did and even more.
Guys, Foundry much cheaper and has more utility in any way than all programs were named. And it's easy to use. No need to create a wheel again - just try foundry and you understand the difference for GM and as a player
ОтветитьIts a great tool, i import my initiative bar(token) to the top, and duplicate my player/monster tokens. To show who is in the initiative order! You can lock them in place, super easy and everyone can see whos next! 😊
ОтветитьHuge hole that it doesn't have dice rolling. Surely you need that online. Why not just use roll20?
ОтветитьWould love to see this kind of browser cache based tool integrated as an addon into Obsidian md - could implement simple linking to and embedding of notes that house any of your compendium and character info - similar to how the Excalidraw extension has extra features and you can save your files as JSON embedded in markdown within your Obsidian folders. I might look into how hard this would be actually :D
ОтветитьDoes anybody know if you can upload Inkarnate maps in? I know they can be pretty chunky
Ответитьhave you tried AboveVTT?
ОтветитьThank you for this video, exactly what I need because some of my players don't have computers that can handle roll20 or other digital tt
ОтветитьI can't wait to try this, this is exactly what I've been working for. I've been trying to start up a DND campaign for my friends but we've never been able to start correctly due to these exact problems. Sure I've found some that were somewhat easy to make maps, but they had stuff that I couldn't use and needed me to buy some premium or "pro" for. Thank you.
ОтветитьThis looks awesome! Got a question though. I have an in person game coming up and would like to use my table with a TV built in and connected to my laptop via Wi-Fi. What’s the best way to utilize the fog of war function if I’m only using one device? Is it possible? Thanks
ОтветитьThis still the best option? What about for map making? Id greatly appreciate anyone who can help
ОтветитьUpdate from the future. I tried owlbear rodeo and the original is fantastic. It's simple and like you I've been searching for FOREVER for a map tool to make showing maps at the table easier one me and with better scale and mobility. BUT now they have a new version that undoes all the positives in my book. You have to have an account, they have Dungeonfog-like suite of features. Also in my game\case the tokens wouldn't go small enough to properly show the scale. They are supposed to be in a massive castle. So being able to reach the other end in 1 30ft action seemed. . . .off.
ОтветитьThis is actually perfect, im trying to setup a dnd campaign for my friends and this is exactly what i was looking for!
ОтветитьHow do you do hex maps?
ОтветитьI think it's funny the first issues you have of fog of war and players being able to move tokens.. most things like foundryvtt and fantasy grounds have that already and what's cool with those is it can track the players line of sight and will only show them what they can see and will show them the rooms they have been in but they can't see tokens moving in the room if they don't have line of sight in there
ОтветитьCould you do a video about the new version of Owlbear?
ОтветитьWould love to use this, but I'm so addicted to roll 20s dynamic lighting
ОтветитьIf I wanted to create my own maps what's the best source for a drag and drop solution. Somthing where I chose the general walls design floor decoration ect. Drag and drop sort of thing
Ответитьgosh this thing is gonna be so useful
ОтветитьGreat now i just need to find somewear to make the map
ОтветитьOf you fog in Photoshop Just set opacity to 50% so you can see what you erase
Ответить2023 is this still up? I hope so, I need this!
ОтветитьBest lightweight vtt out there!
ОтветитьNice find 8?) thanks
ОтветитьI have about 600 Gb of storage IN my browser? How would you know? lmao. Edit: for those who want to know the real info; As a free account you have 200Mb storage on their server. How far that goes? No idea.
ОтветитьIs this video still relevant or have switch to another tool?
ОтветитьMobile also eh? Interesting.
ОтветитьI’ve been using Owlbear for a little over a year and every time I consider switching to something else it’s always missing something
ОтветитьO....M...G>... WHY have i not seen this video??? i have searched ton of stuff for playing virtually I LOVE THIS!
ОтветитьI'm about to run course of strahd, be great if you could download the map pack. Could be a good way the devs monetise and appease the cunts at wotc
ОтветитьThe Token stamp maker is such a game changer thx for the link
Ответитьlooks neat. large storage space.
Ответитьwhen i click it just moves the map and not the token what do i do
ОтветитьEh, I have tried this three times now and all I have been able to do is make a city layer. But nothing else is available to drag onto the map. Nothing works. All that stuff running vertically on your monitor (on the far right) is not visible for me.
Ahhh, I was logged into 2.0 beta!!! My bad!!
My DM loves Owlbear for our set modules. Question: For creating maps what is your "best recommendation". I do lots of homebrew gaming and want to start creating my own personal maps that I can import to Roll20 or into Owlbear. Do you have an updated video on your "best choice"? I'm ok with paid subscription just so long as it is versatile. While I would prefer a standalone version I'm totally fine with web-based browser supported.
ОтветитьHOLY SHIT, THIS IS WHAT I"VE BEEN WANTING. QUICK. EASY. USABLE.
ОтветитьThanks a lot. This is what I really needed.
ОтветитьThis huge amount of online gaming software seems to be diluting theater of the mind as well as gently (sometimes not gently) forcing people into moving away from face-to-face gaming, which is the foundation of DnD. It’s all very nice and luxurious, but dang! I play (as do most people I know) DnD to get away from this online “reliance” we all seem to be hinging on, hehe!!
ОтветитьCan you give specific people specific site they can see, for things like a player with blindsight when the rest of the party don’t.
ОтветитьOMG, this is just what i wanted all this time. thank you very much T-T!!!!
ОтветитьDO NOT Drink every time he says map
ОтветитьI was a bit skeptical, cause theres always these other softwares that claim to be the best, but I usually find them complicated, and then they either don't have the right features or just lock a bunch of stuff behind paywalls, so I was hooked when you said it had all these features while being totally free lol.
ОтветитьThis is amazing
ОтветитьI just started a game where we play in person with the map shown via projector and screen, and this is PERFECT. No other site or tool makes it so quick and easy to control the map and what the players can see. This is a godsend
ОтветитьSo if i get this correctly, you build the map on owlbear & then send an invite link to players & then they can visualize the map on whatever device they're using?
ОтветитьWas hoping for automatic fog removal as a player moves….but still super cool
Ответить
