ОтветитьAt what point does adding more vocal tracks to a stack backfire and create a mess in your mix?
ОтветитьHi! I am in Lamont Holden's class and I found this video very informative as a beginner in mixing vocals! How do you know how much texture to add to your vocals or is it a preference thing?
ОтветитьLove your video and It's really helpful. Do you have any recommendation with some vocal plug-in that can be used in Logic Pro X? Thank you so much.
Ответитьthis is awesome. im in lamont holden's class and i was wondering what DAW are you using? also what are some other core software you would recommend for mastering?
ОтветитьWhat specific techniques or adjustments do you recommend for mixing vocals to fit well within a beat that has a lot of bass and heavy instrumentation?
ОтветитьA RAP PRODUCER NEVER GET A GOOD MIX ,CUZ THEIR HEARS ONLY CATCH SAMPLES
ОтветитьYou mentioned the importance of EQ, compression, and de-essing but cautioned about overuse. How do you find the right balance with these tools to keep the track clear without losing its energy or richness?
Ответить“A secret I haven’t tried yet” ? Lmaoooo 😂😂😂 make it make sense
Ответитьnever master from mp3 if you dont have to, im wondering why he used a mp3 to master
ОтветитьThe video was kool bro like energy...as far as tighting up vocals like doubles using the vocalign pro plugin is the best way to get dat professional touch on your vocals ...also putting your kik and your bass line or 808 on its own bus together along with using tight ashe plugin can do wonders for your lowend.

ОтветитьShould we sidechain the reverb to give more spacious sound or does it matter what if we do or not? I like the one take spacious sound like gloomy lush natural high type of reverb when the bass knocks in rap, how do i get the right setting for compression or type of reverb for that?
ОтветитьAre you processing the stacks before they go to the aux? Or are they all dry and then you processing them as one?
ОтветитьSuper 👌 👍
ОтветитьThis is what we wanted
Ответитьthank you so much
ОтветитьNice work.
ОтветитьProper recording of vocals in a good environment is most important. Mic chain that fits your voice, mic technique, gain staging is what makes “pro” sound vocals. You should be 85% “pro” upon recording. Why are there NO videos showing proper recording techniques. That’s engineering 101.
