Everything here was spot on woth exception of full body vs split..I get better growth out of mostly full body workouts buty workputs But i stay moving through my whole workpit and do legs seperate and will occasionally do a miscle solo of its bening stibborn or lagging

that rep range only is not good for picking weights. You should take amounts of sets.

I’ve been working out for the past 3 months at least 5 times a week, I’m not able to see a change on my body but my friends and people I know tell me I’m losing weight but the scale stays the same although my clothes fit better and I feel more energetic, I quit drinking in Dec 2022, started working out regularly and I do feel hungry all the time and I was worry cause I thought I was eating more than I should but like you say, it’s normal when you start building muscle I’m 45 years old, my past attempts to lose weight would only last a few weeks and since I didn’t see any changes I would go back to my old bad habits like binge drinking and eating but not this year and so far so good. I feel proud of myself and although it’s still very hard to exercise everyday because of my extra pounds I keep on going. I love watching working out videos so I can learn more about nutrition and how to gain more strength and muscle. Cheers

with todays inflation and food prices, i cant afford to eat 4-5 times a day

i only eat 2 meals a day, any more and id have to go spend more money at the grocery store, which i cant afford

I’ve found doing a 3 muscle split on 2 days means I can train each group 3 times as week. I do 3 sets of excerices so 9 a day or 27 sets a week. This seems to be a good balance for recovery but allows me to get more sets in on a weekly basis

Eating 8 - 9 times a day? I have always put on muscle very easily (a true endomorph), and usually only eat once or twice a day. Skinny people graze all day. Also I always did push/pull days, so chest and tri's one day, back & bi's another day, shoulders & legs on third day, 2x a week.

Any advice for a student like me who doesn't have a budget for my own diet? I'm just eating whatever is on the table, I'm trying to get bigger bulky muscle as possible but I only eat 3 times a day :(

I've found a good way to grow muscles without any weights or apparatus, every muscle has an opposing muscle ok so why not work them against each other, I've been experimenting with this idea, and it's working, for example when I do my bicep curls I am also working out my triceps by tensioning them against each other ,I've noticed they will grow experdentialy using this method ,the bigger they get the bigger they get,and the beauty about this is I can do it anywhere if I have a moment of privacy, for example in the toilet I work out my arms ,,it takes a little practice for certain muscle groups, but it works, try it ,you have nothing to loose, I recommend full movement of your arms from lock to lock strain them hard against each other so they are fighting each other in opposite directions, I saw growth in the first week,

Came up with something like this on my own. Started dead lifting at sixty pounds, three sets, twelve reps. Went to 100 pounds, three set, ten reps. When that became normal I increased to twelve reps. When that normalised I increased another twenty pounds and so on. I call it leapfrogging. Immediately after the workout I have my protein shake with collagen and creatine. I do a soft Keto diet, some pasta, a slice of sourdough toast with olive oil but mostly meat and veggies. I avoid sugars other than whole fruit. No cow’s milk only coconut milk and cook with coconut oil. Avoid seed oils. During the lockdown at the beginning of the pandemic I dropped forty plus pounds. BP went from 147 to 115. I’m no longer hypoglycaemic. Never felt better

You must have a great diet if you want to gain muscle fast. I suggest the Agoge Diet, it worked great for me.
