How to find your sewer cleanout (and why it's important!)

Can you do a video on a second cleanout on the opposite side of the drain line to the sewer line.

I think I might have a clog every time I flush my toilet it drains fine I can take a shower it drains fine but if I use my washing machine and it drains it clogs the toilet and my two bath tube back up

I have a pipe that is sticking out my back yard. It isn’t close to the foundation at all. It’s capped. What is it? Is this the clean out?

I accidentally buried it over the years and just found it - was actually looking for it to make sure I knew where it was before doing some landscaping in my front yard. A question - the area was landscaped with bushes and there is about 6-8 inches of dirt build up from fifteen years of mulching and adding plants near it. I just cut down three evergreens and there are a lot of roots around it. Any suggestions on the best way to keep the access and protect it and also not leaving the area bare? Thanks in advance.

ain't that a "drain français" chimney? A sewer clean out would be inside with a "Y" so your main connect to the out while you have the 2nd branch of the "Y" to see/clean.

The previous homeowner of my house buried the sewer cleanout, and I can't find it.

My gal's 20 year old nicely built house connected to the city sewer, has no cleanout that can be found. I think somebody buried it. A local plumber told her some houses do not have cleanouts, and hers is one of them. I think that is a rediculous story. I am now researching how to locate a buried sewer line. I might have to remove a toliet to run an electronic sending unit down that sewer line; and possibly install a cleanout. 🐾🐾

I have a cleanout in the crawlspace at the beginning of the sewer line. Would there be another cleanout on the outside? I don't recall seeing anything outside.

What about washing machines? My problem is on the spin cycle I have water that overflows out the drain and gets on my floor. I've had it snaked also used drain cleaner many times and it still does it. So now everytime I wash clothes I stand beside the machine when it's on the spin cycle that way I can quickly cut off the machine if I see water starting to overflow, someone suggested I make the pipe taller to hold more water but the way my drain is configured I can't.

So I know what a clean out looks like but mine ccx was buried under the ground when landscapers added dirt and covered it up. I just cant find it to dig. How do I locate if under ground near sewage line? Just dig till I find it or what?
