MUSÉE DE LA VIE ROMANTIQUE. Paris, France

This residence is located in the romantic district "New Athens”. With its courtyard, garden and two artists' studios, it has retained all its charm. The painter, Ary Scheffer (1795 - 1858), received the cream of Paris society here during the July monarchy, indluding Delacroix Rossini, Chopin and Dickens. The museum offers aprecious setting for the paintings of Soheffer and his contamporaries, as well at the memorabilia of the writer George Sand (furniture, paintings oljets dart and jewellery).
