I am from Norway , and we are about 0.07% (yes, zero point ZERO seven percent) of the world population as of writing this. And somehow people here believe that if we use electric cars, special shopping bags and eat less meat we will save the planet? ... yeah right! The only way forward is technological development and education in which case only 0.000000013% of the world population (one person) can make a difference.
Ответитьthe way english people say norweigan words is just HILARIOUS to anyone norweigan.
edit: bro the way he said bergen. its sounds like he said bargen LOL.
Well yes of course, Slartibartfast is after all one of the best designers there is.

ОтветитьI think Norway should've focused on expanding it's railways, rather than it's road network. All things considered (remoteness and all), our road network is quite expansive already. And i think we should invest way more in public transport rather than private car infrastructure, cause even if you're driving an electric car, it still pollutes WAY more than trains. And even if we produce a lot of green energy etc. we are still guilty of some of the worlds highest carbon emissions and general consumption per capita. So i think we ought to move away from private cars as much as possible, rather than heavily invest in the continuation of them.
Ответитьthanks for complimenting my country
ОтветитьWait i have good geographical location?
ОтветитьI was an electrician at the part of the new E39 road between Kristiansand and Mandal, the road is nice if you look past the fact that you have to pay tolls to drive on it😅 and you can drive at 110km/h there too
ОтветитьNorwegian here... This guy is funny😂😂 Let's put this into perspective. It's cheaper for me to take a plane to Malaga, Spaina then a train back and forth to Oslo, which is like 40 km😂
Ответитьim norwegian and i have been several different places in norway on different occations and I would like to say buskerud and telemark is my least favourite sections of the country so far. for several different reasons.
Ответитьi live in bjørnafjorden lol
ОтветитьIt sucks here. Everything is expencive and the use of drugs is rapidly growing. This is not a joke.
ОтветитьBrunost
ОтветитьDet her er jo bare skit prat 💩
Ответитьi live in one of the most well developed and richest regions in norway, and i have lots of negative to say about our infrastructure rather then positive, but i might be biased, i am a truck driver afterall, and it fells like every street designer in norway A: forgets trucks exist, or B: really really hates us.
Ответитьhey im from norway and im abroving the vid
ОтветитьIf I wanna fly from the west to the north I have to go by 3 planes acrosss the whole thing. But ended up taking the train home to be a better human, but the tracks doesn't even go all the way up there, bc you know, fuck the north !!
ОтветитьAbout flying in Norway:
Insanely expensive.
Travelling from Oslo to Tromsø is more expensive than travelling
Oslo - New York City! For all the other "fantastic" things with Norway, I concure with the other comments from norwegians here.
Bragging about all cool and neat things in Norway is pointless as long as they are just not true.
Sorry, mate.
We wish it was.
It makes me very angry whenever Norwegian politicians as well as people from other parts of the world praise how great our country is. As a disabled person that is not my experience whatsoever.
ОтветитьOne Norwegian of many here it seems. An important thing that is not mentioned in the video when it comes to the energy produced being almost exclusively green energy. What is failed to mention is the fact that Norway imports A LOT of energy from other parts of the world. Energy that is NOT green. In fact, Norway is dependent on imported energy. This could be avoided because we do produce enough energy for our population, but how energy produced is utilised I have learned is a complicated issue. It isn’t as easy as just decide to only use our own energy apparently.
Ответитьwhy does everyone care about this project? it will be a carreer ender..
Ответитьyeah our railways suck. they need a major upgrade. it would not only improve transport but the environment if more people took trains.
ОтветитьWhoever watches this: Know that this is more or less just BS.
ОтветитьAs a Norwegian I can tell you that our roads and infrastructure is not great. I have been to many countries and we are nowhere near good enough.
Ответитьi am norwigen nice
Ответитьthanks
ОтветитьAs a Norwegian and Trønder. Kafaan Norge e bra designa?
ОтветитьAs a kristiansandian i approve your pronounciation of my city
ОтветитьOBF: "Norway is insanely well designed!"
Norwegians(myself included): "Uhm... are you on meth?"
OBF: "Norway is one of the greenest countries on earth"
Norwegians: "Uhm... yeah because we can afford to waste billions on insane policies because have the largest sovereign wealth fund in the world BECAUSE WE MAKE A F**KTON OF MONEY SELLING OIL!!! When we turn off the tap and stop selling it for environmental reasons we are F*********CKED."
Also.... do you have any idea how long it takes to make any infrastructure development happen in Norway? It takes DECADES just to agree on the plans. Everyone in Norway knows that the E39 project is gonna take forever to realize and is going to be waaaaay over budget if it's even finished.
It hurts hearing Norwegian names and words being pronounced in english. I legit only heard one name where it sounded relatively norwegian
ОтветитьThe welfare the public sector in Norway is HUGE. The welfare state every year pay out 535 BILLION kroner to around 2.8 million of the people, that’s 100.000 kroner on average to all the citizens, or over double that to every one that receives this, so politicians do this instead of investing in infrastructure as they think they will get more votes doing it this way. Which they do. Never mind that the country suffer hugely from lack of investment in infrastructure…
ОтветитьI didn’t watch the video as in my opinion Norway is NOT well designed at all in terms if infrastructure. Sure, it’s expensive to build roads, rails and other infrastructure in Norway due to all the mountains and fjords that break up the country. Still the wealth fund SHOULD have been used to build motorways through all the important cities, plus of course they should have built a railway all the way up to the north of Norway almost regardless of cost. As this wealth fund is huge and will now probably only been used to prop up the welfare state with benefits to “the poor” and to prop up a huge public sector for decades. After the money is gone they will have nothing left, and of course still very bad infrastructure… Politicians are strange animals.
ОтветитьAs a norwegian, big creds on the pronunciations of cities!
ОтветитьMy family has been vacationing in Norway ever since 1993, almost yearly, and I love the country a lot. Their policies are impressive and the people uniquely great. However, the rail network is nothing to speak of and there is little to no cycling infrastructure in rural regions. This is largely due to the challenging (albeit grand) topography, making bicycles not a prime choice of transportation (compared to them being a very valid choice in central Europe).
All in all, the standard land transportation is by driving your car over slow, winding roads. Norwegians are used to long travel times for relatively short distances.
In germany, a 400 km trip between medium-sized cities will take about 4 hours. The same distance in Norway can be covered in 7 hours if you are very dedicated, but 9 is much more likely.
Not to be nagging though, the amazing scenery makes more than up for it and the roads are in excellent condition.
807,072 Norwegians have currently watched this video.
Ответитьha, hahaha, norway well well designed?
i have lived here in norway all my life, 35 years now.
infrastructure is crap, our politicians are probably the worlds most incompetent nature heating idiots.
this video is so fake.
This video is obviously trying to describe the scams made against the citizens of Norway as a good thing.
I’m Norwegian, and can tell you that our country’s taxation can be ranged similarly to slavery. All in all we pay more than 90% in taxes, and we do not own anything, as WEF recently told us: “You shall own nothing, but be happy”. The picture the video is trying to describe to the audience is therefore extremely false.
I love my country. Btw If you havent rode the train from bergen to oslo (Bergensbanen) You have missed out man Just take the dawm train! You will ot regret it! <33
Ответитьthats why i live here
Ответитьthe WEF is the evil of today's world
Ответитьas a norwegian i can confirm that we are above all other countries and that absolutely no one can compete with us. norway is JUST THAT COUNTRY bro.
ОтветитьNorway has deep pockets so can throw money at unneeded gadgets.
ОтветитьNorway must eventually connect to China's new transport and trade routes.
Ответитьif Denmark dit not sell some of its olie fields to Norway back in the days for 25 million they would never have been where they are now
Ответитьi just moved to oslo and it's so funny living in the city centre watching videos like this when i see my house every time there's a clip of the city
ОтветитьNorway is one of the most dysfunctional countries, when you calculate the resources & population. Its the wealthiest country, 3-4th largest oil producers, only 5-6 million people. Still dysfunctional public service, trains, busses, education, health. How can a country with so much resources have so many western problems, poverty, inequality, centralized power, corruption. Norway is Green By Natural means.
