Maybe pretty obvious questions but I am quite new to Mikrotik myself. How does the fasttrack affect the performance of the router? And are there any other ways to manage traffic besides queues?

i cant seem to get my simple queue to affect my download it only affects upload fasttrack is turned off as well as fast path...

Can you tell why simple queues don't show any upload traffic after upgrading router to 6.42.11 (or few 6 versions what I have tried). I can see in mangle that everything is ok with upload traffic. For some reason in simple queues upload is always 0. Now I can't limit any upload. Is this some version bug or something?

Fast track was NOT there for me to delete, and my "simple" queue is NOT limiting bandwidth. I've been looking all over the internet, and I am ready to give up on this.

i'm sorry for asking this while i still don't have any Routerboard device (but i will soon) but can the Simple Queues and Queue Tree both be used at the same time (or combined)?

i am planning to create a rule in which the Queue Tree from your "Tutorial 14 Queue Tree" is applied but i still need to prioritize a set of clients to have more bandwidth and priority from another set of clients like from your "Tutorial 10 Simple Queue"

Hi. I think this video should come before vide 10, or you should redo video 10 and tell that you need to remove fast track before you start to use simple queue. It would have saved me a lot of time to troubleshoot :) All your video are great ...

may i ask, how do you setup 2 isp on mikrotik router. also, how do you mangle different types of traffic and queue tree for it?
