I can get the minimum possible undervoltage in the 1070 Galax OC Mini, the same design as the founders, in 700 mV at base clock of 1518.
At 1969, only at 900 mV tho.
You should try because not all games require 1900 MHz.

I have 1070 palit 8gb gfx, i followed the tutorial and heaven engine couldnt handle it. I was thinking maybe because I have 1440p monitor and this tutorial was made on 1080p monitor. I kind of tried to find the right spot between 1700 but it feels like i have less fps. Could you maybe calculate what settings i should lut in this case? Thanks

hello bro, what was your power consumption when you undervolted your 1070? i'm planning to upgrade my 960 to a 1070 but i'm worried about the power consumption because it has 1 6pin and 1 8 pin

Upping the memory for me caused hardware errors durring my testing and putting the Fan volt and temp to the max caused instability for me might be wattage wise

hi! I did everything in your video, and my gpu runs 80-89C, is that normal after doin this? Or do I have to turn back the memory clock a bit?

edit: I didn’t get any fps difference because I couldn’t raise the memory clock, how do i get more fps without messing with the memory clock?

Managed to get my 1070 to run stable @1850Mhz, @ 900mV. This significantly reduced the sound my GPU used to make, it also gave me more stable performance in games. Really appreciated this video.

Right method, is:
1. RMB on point with 900mv hold shift and drag the whole cure to the point when 900mv = 1900
2. SHIFT + select all point on the right of the curve and drop them below, no matter how much, it will align to 900@1900
With this method you will get more stable results, as power increase with frequencies is no linear and you will not upvolt freqs which are lower.

The highest cloc speed my Galax Gtx 1070 can go in the 900mv curve is 1800, its unstable after that. When i first tried 1900mhz in 900mv curve i got a few black screens and screen tearing, heaven crashed but thankfully everything went back to normal.

Did a few more tests here and there and eventually got to 1800mhz.

So quick reminder to everyone whos interested in trying to undervolt their GTX 1070 using this tutorial - ALWAYS REMEMBER EACH AND EVERY CARD WILL BE DIFFERENT.

Thank you for the tutorial!
My 1070 g1, now uses 35-40W less and it is 10°C cooler at the same rpm.

Just to clarify and make sure, the lower I go with the MHz, the more stable it gets right?

I was able to get it working on 900 mV at 1859 MHz
So just to be super sure that it is 100% stable and reliable, can I leave it a bit lower like 1838 MHz? I don't mind 2-3 fps performance loss, I just want it stable withou any glitches and possible audio interference.

Would you recommend to go lower in MHz for reliabilty?
