These people say the entire bin has to be replaced.. ridiculous

The grey thin inner ring broke on my Dyson which resulted in the red seal getting lose. I figured out how to put it together but don’t think it will hold because the plastic ridges that snap it all back together are broken. Do you know if I can buy that grey inner ring by itself or do I need a whole new bin?

I tried just to push the red circle and it's plastic disk back without disassembling the clear bin and certainly broke 4 from 6 fixers marked by smal red circles at the beginning of video. I'm a lucky guy because I still have two of them and reinstall the circle but I need a new one clear bin for my Dyson. Thank you very much for the video, this really helped me.

The red ring kept falling. It turns out that it is broken so I had to order a new seal ring via Amazon Germany from a 3rd party company. Customer services in Turkiye and Uk advised replacing the whole bin. But they are out of stock for 6. Months😢Thanks for the video since I noticed that I could make it work again just by replacing the red ring aka the seal. It helped me a great deal when replacing the new red seal🙏🏻 Saved my Dyson lying idle for many months. And I do not need to buy a new bin. Thanks a million 😍🙏🏻

Thanks for the nice tutorial. I removed the screw, followed instructions, but no way to remove the seal from the bin even by making force on the bin as clearly explained by you, it seems firmly glued especially on the opposite side of the screw.Any suggestion?
