in any other movie though, they're not government, they're vigilantes. illegally hiding their identities (yes really), not sticking around to give a statement, interfering with law enforcement, not following protocol or having proper authority (for say, a hostage situation). what about in those cases?

Okay all this is fair, but my question is why didn't Mr incredible try to shield the guy as he dove him through the window?

Im relatively certain he could have done so, but nope, just uses the body of the man hes trying to save as a human shield from the glass 😂

The first movie was written for adults, clothed similarly to a children's movie, and it was exceptional and well-written, addressing the issues of a family against the odds, their own powers, and the American society
the second movie was just written for children, not much complexity, good dialogue between characters, no interesting conundrum, mostly a reflection of the year it was released in.

When you realize that all these laws are present in the second movie, making the un-banning of superheroes legally correct

If you want to read the Gospel then I will put something like that in my replies, but if you read that then you should still read the complete Gospel. I put this because in Acts 1:8 it says “You will be my witnesses in Jerusalem and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth” so I put this to do what The Lord says. The film primarily takes place in the 1962, before any of the protecting laws were established. I mention that because I had to look that up after I briefly started wondering just how old was Mr. & Mrs. Incredible. 😆

I thought that the beginning of the film had a guy doing some sort of trick (like Hudiness disappearing aft type of thing) and not an actual suicide attempt, like was it just me that coukd have sworn they sore a bungee rope wrapped around him?
