There is very little evidence to prove the language was similar to Sanskrit.
Whereas it is showing the similarity of Dravidian languages.
There can be no doubt that the script of Indus valley is Dravidian.

Sanskrit was not a natural spoken language. It was a language invented(standardized) for formal settings, like for schools, communication between intellectuals and other formal stuff. even Indo-european commoners didn't speak Sanskrit.
