Hey everyone! As a fellow gaming enthusiast who's been on the gaming journey since the original Nintendo days, MetalJesusRock's Super Nintendo collection video really hit me in the nostalgia feels. With over 120 games, including classics and hidden gems, it's a reminder of the magic that video games bring to our lives. Kudos to MetalJesusRock for sharing this epic collection! 🎮🙌

Genesis easily when it comes to shoot em ups as it could handle all the sh*t going on screen without horrible slowdown that snes shootemups tended to have.

So cool that F-Zero is from an episode of Game Chasers. That is exactly where that F-Zero came from. Not sure what episode or what convention, but guy was doing a fire sale on his stock. At the end of the convention, Billy asks the guy what the deal was with a sealed box on a shelf that said F-Zero. I think he was selling them for $10 or $20. Cool piece of history.

I just beat Chrono trigger and man…what an incredible game. They actually fixed the steam version making it pretty much a match for the DS version.

Speaking of going back in time: When I was like 12 years old, a neighbor had a Turbografx and a bunch of games for sale as a bundle and it was like $5-10. I think even the CD attachment came with it, but I'm not sure. Hopefully somebody was smart and decided to get it and it didn't go to the dump.

I decided to challenge myself while going for the full usa cib snes library
.
That challenge being spend $0 out of pocket. Today I've passed 500cib in <2yr simply by finding and selling free furniture locally. I've had some CRAZY finds and common $200 couches going all the way up to a $1900 couch I got for $30. Was a big mail day after that haha

I documented some of the journey on my channel(:

The Chrono Trigger cutscenes that were added into the DS version were originally from the PS1 port of Chrono Trigger. Because Squaresoft was utilizing the CD technology for a port of Chrono Trigger, they got Akira Toriyama (of Dragonball fame) who designed the Chrono Trigger characters/artwork to create some animated cutscenes for the game. I have the SNES and PS1 version (that comes with FF IV and FF Chronicles,) but I've actually never played the DS version of Chrono Trigger, so I'm kinda curious if there's anything else different about it, I'm assuming the 2nd screen shows maps and stats at the very least.

I was lucky enough to have both the Sega Genesis and SNES as a kid. And the SNES got so much more play during that time. But nowadays I find myself playing more and more Genesis games. Both great systems, but I still give a slight edge to SNES and possibly being my personal best console of all time.

There is yet another Super Mario World version on the All*Stars combo cartridge. Luigi has updated sprites and looks different from Mario. When the snes was brand new it was crazy to see so many games and IP's continue looking 👌🏼 this felt like arcade gfx at home. Castlevania, Street Fighter, Turtles and Contra where my favs to play over and over again, still playing those today
