You may want to mention that the EU tried to make micro USB a default at one point. Apple released a micro USB to lightning adapter for the EU. I bought it and use it with a micro USB cable.
ОтветитьEU ruining capitalism in the name of electronic waste. Wtf
ОтветитьWhat if It will be created a new, faster, thinner and cool USB type D?😂
ОтветитьI love how this is what the EU is worried about not you know a certain war that’s going on, or environmental issues. No we have to mess with a phone guys
ОтветитьI hate the EU it should be broken apart 🇬🇧🏴
ОтветитьWe all know this was EU requirement, why did they make this video again?
ОтветитьThem being forced to switch to USB-C is more frustrating in itself on top of being unnecessary and pointless since Lightning does pretty much the same stuff AS USB-C and as pointed out here, it was introduced BEFORE that connection! Having to be forced to give up what the competition essentially COPIED from Apple really just makes it just as forced as Apple's own need to force people into using the latest version of any of their Operating Systems!
ОтветитьIf it was Steve Jobs alive , he would be very angry and in despair... I'm disappointed too...
ОтветитьI think it's fair to say that it's still "late" for Apple to do the switch no matter what the incentive was. USB-C has been a standard for at least 5 years now. The fact that it took 5 years since USB-C was standardized in the industry, for Apple to change the port out is not consumer friendly. Consumer friendly is appropiating your product to the arleady existing market. Waiting out with an inferior and outdated port, which licensing YOU OWN is a monetary decision and not user experience decision.
ОтветитьEu
ОтветитьWhat, its not usb c
Its ✨*Dynamic island port*✨
The real reason being Apple cares too much about its customers and the environment that they decided to stick to old age tech which are supposed to be better - old is gold after all. Apple is very thoughtful
ОтветитьShort and only answer: Because EU dictated.
Don't waste your 2 mins. You're welcome.
EU
ОтветитьYeah, let's focus our attention on an a cable. War in Europe? Nah. A standardised USB that's what the world needs. Fuck me.
ОтветитьIm not a fan of this
ОтветитьI hear that Apples next MacBookPro will include a floppy disc slot. 😉
ОтветитьThis stuff should have been standardized a decade ago.
ОтветитьI think Apple won’t remove the Lightning port in the future(at least within a decade)because millions of people still use previous units.
ОтветитьNot switching to USB C earlier has already caused a lot of complaints from customers. Glad EU to force that.
ОтветитьAnswer can be simplified in a sentence, EU decided to fuck apple.😂
Ответитьthank you EU
thank you GCC
Not a bad move, USB C on an iPad is charging so much faster
ОтветитьNext video: what is the color of a banana. Come on man you used to make such interesting videos and now it’s just short, really general stuff
Ответитьgoodbye lightning port although you weren’t as fast as your name suggests and your cables always break so easily but you accompanied us for a decade so rest in peace old friend 🪦
ОтветитьThanks to EU
ОтветитьThanks a lot, EU
Apple is so wicked to make iPhone uses lightning whilst their other devices use USB C
if you want to use the lightning cable for your peripherals, get a usb c adapter
ОтветитьWhen my computer, steam deck, switch, earphones, and every other accessory I got uses type-c except my iPhone, it’s kinda crappy. I have 20 type c cables and 1 lightning
ОтветитьIt’s sad to say if it wasn’t for the EU, apple would of stayed using Lightning, very sad. It’s the biggest mistake apple ever made by.
ОтветитьRemovable batteries are next. Brace up apple. Your stronghold will soon be over
ОтветитьI’m going to start eating my lighting connectors cause I don’t like waste
ОтветитьBecause they were forced to
ОтветитьThey were forced to. It wasnt out of the good of their hearts.
ОтветитьI’m excited to see what changes Apple won’t make to the iPhone 16 in 2024
ОтветитьGOOD JOB APPLE EXPLAINED for noticing iPhones and AirPods switching to USB-C
ОтветитьWhat??? Companies have to obey the laws made by the legislature? Who has the overall benefit in mind and not just that of lobbying companies? Is this not anti-freedom … or something? I am s-h-o-c-k-e-d.
ОтветитьTLDR : The EU
ОтветитьI’m sorry, but if you invested in a proprietary technology that a single company uses and can simply dispose of at a moment’s notice, that’s a you problem.
Stop throwing your money away on such tech and only get the basics. Never invest in something you have no say in.
Hey there. I’d really like to know why Macs don’t have an actual camera app. Photo Booth is just kind of “off-brand” feeling. Could you explain?
ОтветитьLove You EU.
ОтветитьI’m glad they switched anyway
ОтветитьPersonally, I'm glad they made the switch to a standard connector. They should have switched the iphone to USB C back in 2017 when the X came out. Would have been the best time to do it since they moved to the new design. Better now then never I guess.
ОтветитьThe Defender came back lol 😂
ОтветитьIdk
ОтветитьThey bent the knee just like they did when they stopped making leather cases and opted for that garbage, woven crap!
Ответить“Maybe that is a question you should ask Chy-na.” DJT
ОтветитьWe can thank the EU for forcing greedy Apple to make the switch 😂
Ответить2026, they will announce the iPhone with an easily replaceable battery in order to keep themselves in the EU market.
