I tried literally everything from like 20 reddit threads but i finally got it to work by setting my resolution to 800x600 when launching the game both from config file and display settings.

If this solution does not work, try this. If you have a second screen, disconnect the HDMI cable and the game may start. After running the game, you can turn on your screen again. Currently I am looking for another solution.

The game boots up but after playing it 3 or so minuets it crashes with no worming.

Sadly, this didn't work for me. I've spent countless hours troubleshooting, doing the same things that you and others with this issue have recommended, just no positive results.

I manage to get into a zombies game, but then it crashes. I did see a brief glimpse of directx error on the t7 patch. I think I might uninstall directx and reinstall it if this method doesn't work. I really don't want to do a fresh reset on my pc, so if no solution works I will just have to give up on fixing it

Unfortunately disabling the sound and recording stuff did not work….might have to uninstall voice meter and try it unfortunately
