If only Rose did move so Jack could get on
ОтветитьI don’t know why people still be asking about Jack and Rose they weren’t even real
ОтветитьYes space speaking both Jack and Rose could fit since it was big enough spacing wise to put two people on, however…..if you add up the facts that 1: it wasn’t a real door, it was a door frame, 2: they were freezing cold and 3: they were in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean in the frigid cold……they would’ve needed to be completely above the water, and given how cold they were…..the door frame would’ve eventually taken on a lot of water as well.
ОтветитьI hope you all know that wasn’t a door
It was as panel that was part of a doorframe
James Cameron said hero Di Kaprio's must die and that's it, no options.
ОтветитьIt wasn’t even a door it was a thicker piece of wood
ОтветитьJack didn't survive because neither of them were Cuban. Had they been Cuban, Jack and Rose would had been able to put a family of six in that piece of wood and row all the way to Miami.🤣🤣🤣
Ответитьjust remember, on page 156 section 25,1 b it says "jack dies"
ОтветитьDidn’t Jack try to get on the door at first? But he didn’t have enough energy and was too cold (don’t forget he did a lot of running around on the titanic and he didn’t just step into the water he slammed into it hard) all these things play crucial factors and I guess he feared tipping it over. And sadly they didn’t have the knowledge to turn the door into raft.
However there were plenty of other floating things I think he could’ve pulled up on
Also, jack would have survived IF rose didn’t exited the lifeboat.
Ответить56 degrees in the pool that's not cold Americans always full with lies
ОтветитьIf Rose just would have just went with her mom and the rich people on the life boats she would have been safe. Then all Jack would have had to worry about was finding a door and saving himself.
ОтветитьRose could have saved jack buy staying on that damn lifeboat.
ОтветитьDon't argue with Mr Cameron... He knows it all 😂😂
Ответитьi always thought it was obvious. the wood needed to remain above water (atleast to the best of its ability) to keep rose from touching the water and getting hypthermia. they both couldve got on it for sure, but the wood would be submerged and they'd die of hypothermia anyways. not to mention its pitch black, everyones in mass hysteria, the cold water is going to effect their thought process, and they probably didnt immediately think to put their life jacket under the wood, also how would that have been accomplished anyways?
ОтветитьMy question about Rose surviving is, how did she not freeze to death minutes after everyone in the water died? unless she somehow dried up on that wood, her clothes, and the life jacket were soaked heavily, she was exposed to the freezing air for who knows how long, she should've died I think.
ОтветитьBig difference between 56 degree water and 28... which is the true temperature the water was.
ОтветитьOh, God. As an ice queen once said, "let it go".
ОтветитьHell, Jack could have had the wood all to himself if Rose had stayed on that lifeboat she jumped off of.
ОтветитьShe had the heart of the ocean neckless
Ответитьhow about a test to see if jacks drawing of rose would have survived 87 years at the bottom of the Atlantic in a safe.
ОтветитьIt’s Hollywood, someone’s gotta die
Ответить56 degrees Fahrenheit? I'm sure that at the time the water was closer to 30.
ОтветитьWould've been better if they made Jack rip a massive loud fart while he was in the water clinging to the door and the water erupted in bubbles around him and then Rose would have been like eww and pushed him off into the water because he was gross.
ОтветитьPeople seem to forget its a wood panel not a door.
ОтветитьI only watched the titanic recently, and I was beyond irritated with the selfish ending.
ОтветитьIf Jack didn't die the story wouldn't be as interesting
ОтветитьThey should've took turns going on the door. Big brain move.
ОтветитьThey predicted it 💀
ОтветитьIt's hilarious to me that people ignore the deadliness of the water. If the water isn't deadly, then please do explain the 1,500 deaths the Titanic caused. Y'all know this actually happened right? People went into the water, got out and still died. Freezing water is deadly, the Mythbusters episode completely ignored that fact. Buoyancy means nothing, if you're still exposed to freezing water.
ОтветитьInstead of different actors, they should have brought back the real actors
ОтветитьMy husband always pointed out that if Rose had just stayed on the lifeboat like Jack told her, then he could have easily saved himself without having to worry about her.
Ответить250k and you actually put something on the recommendation tab…
ОтветитьJames Cameron never does anything half-heartedly, right?
Ответить..You can ignore everything in this life of yours. .even the existence of God if you like........But you can NEVER ignore a finalized movie script. .that too by James Cameron... .
ОтветитьWhat I don’t get is it Rose had already been in the water before, so she would’ve already been cold
Ответить"james cameron conducts test, and we're here taking 2 minutes to say those four words and not show you anything."
ОтветитьI'm the movie they both try get on and the fall of so that's the answer...jack should have got drunk that would have helped him stay alive a little longer
ОтветитьIf she had stayed in the lifeboat then Jack would have been sitting on the block of wood, they would have met back on Carpathia, then once they were ashore in NY pawned the Jewel of the Ocean and lived happily ever after. But she had to jump back out of the lifeboat.....which sealed Jacks fate.
Ответитьforget the door, if ROSE woulda stayed on the lifeboat they both would have lived..
ОтветитьThe message was sacrificial love- selfless, true love. All the husbands who put their wives and children onto the lifeboats knowing that their own death was imminent was truly heartbreaking but showed heroic sacrifice. This movie made me cry like no other in my life.
ОтветитьYes it’s literally her fault he died because she jumped on the boat again + if she took of her life jacket and put it under the door he could have lived
ОтветитьPeople tend to forget that these two never actually “lived” at all. Lol
ОтветитьBlech.
James Cameron's presence was not enough to overcome the nauseating vibe of this "news" network.
“It’s been a burning question for a quarter of a century.”
Yeah for idiots who never saw the movie which actually shows that if Jack tried to get on with her, the door would flip.
This is dumb
Jack was meant to die. Doesn’t matter how
Rose wasn't very nice. She seemed to be a B-I-double-hockey sticks with her mother and her intended. Jack, on the other hand, was kind to everyone and thoughtful to boot. If life were fair, Rose would have given up her space on the door so that Jack, a more worthy individual, could be saved. But of course, the B-I-double-hockey-sticks never considered that and let him die. She did, however, save that jewel thing. I don't like her. Never did. She ruined the whole movie. I bet if she hadn't been on board the ship would never have sunk.
ОтветитьThey could have just took turns
ОтветитьDid no one consider that Jack had to die for thematic reasons? At the end of the day Titanic is a movie based on a tragedy. Sure, Jack can live and Rose can have her happy ending. But what about the women whose husbands couldn’t find a boat? What about the children who lost their parents? What about the crew who had to see their comrades die right in front of them?
Jack dying fits the theme. Everyone lost something that night. If Jack had survived, it would’ve failed to drive in the crushing loss that so many people felt in the aftermath.
The movie would have not been the same if he lived!!! Can we stop this debate already? Jack had to die! The end!
