using spaced repetition to remember how to use space repetition
ОтветитьThank you for this amazing video
I would like to know apps about spaced repetition
Im in collage for electrical engineering and I smoke an ounce a week 😂 this is needed
Ответитьshould be titled explaining what spaced repetition is without explaining anything at all. What was the point in any of this?????
Ответитьyou would have told when to space the repetitions, i already know about spaced repetition this way.
ОтветитьWhy now I’m watching this💀I’m gonna graduate soon and feels horrible but as I know nothing’s too late😃I hope so🤦🏻♀️
ОтветитьI knew this technique buh didn't apply to my life untill my lecturer mentioned today. 🎓
Ответить💜📚
ОтветитьHey, whoever is reading this...please help me with your ideas on this problem :-
Topic - In spaced repetition
Subject - the problem with me is not that I don't recall anything...I do, but I don't recall all!
but that is not the main issue -
issue is say in a topic there are 15points
now the points which I am not able to recall in 1st repetition
I won't remember them in the 2nd one either
and same points I won't remember in 3rd either
ex. I was not able to get 3rd nd 5th point
therefore I won't get them in subsequent revision as well
This also happens with certain topics (as whole)
I won't recall that entire topic in any revision
ex. of thinkers or quotes or historians or any such overly factual
What to do in such scenario, how to beat this issue and recall all, If not all than atleast 90-95% of all...
as 3-4 points in each topic is too much gone in 300-400 topics.
Please do share what you do, thanks a lot for yout time!
This is an intriguing method to remember when mastering something new. I'll be sure to keep it in mind.
ОтветитьJ'adore 👍🏾
ОтветитьThis is best of video about spacing effect.
ОтветитьGood explanation
ОтветитьI use the "Smart Repetition" for ios and "Memory Card" for Android memorization app. His algorithm based on spaced repetitions. I like it very much
ОтветитьI have a system I use for when I study. I call them "rounds".
I'll set a timer for 45 minutes to study a subject. At that time, my phone is on do not disturb mode and the only reason I will stop studying is to use the washroom, or pick up a call from my daughter.
Once 45 min is up, I take 15 minutes to do what I want. That's one round. I focus on getting a minimum 3 rounds a day on whatever subject I'm studying.
This system helps me lock in short bursts of serious focus. I understand a person can work 8 hrs and get little done, whereas 4 hrs of serious focused work can 10x your results.
This is super helpful
Ответитьare there any raha students here lol??
ОтветитьGreat sirr god bless
Ответитьwhat if I missed a day? do I have to start all over again?
Ответитьthanks
ОтветитьThis is bassicaly active recall?
Ответитьthe articles you mentioned, where can I find them?
ОтветитьThis basically the process of facilitation of synapses.
(MD Neurology anyone?)
Imagine actually having the time to study the same thing for a whole week when you have 15 other subjects to study LMAO
ОтветитьIf this is space repetition I don't have an issue with it.
ОтветитьWow! Prem dhann pao!!
ОтветитьDoes he mean memorize it the first day, then the third day ect? Or just read it over, I actually don’t know how to review.
ОтветитьWow you’re a natural. Your dad taught you well. Congratulations 👍
ОтветитьI wish they taught this in school
ОтветитьWill have to try and test spacing system
Ответитьwhen you are the patient of these doctors who
.....forgot...................😳😐🥶
Remember study smarter NOT longer!
ОтветитьI would also like to say, to apply this you have to quiz yourself and if you get the wrong answer on a question then that's where you have to spend more time studying on it. Also if it seems frustrating and difficult that means it's working!!😃
ОтветитьThis video is saying as you start to forget information review that info at the time your about to forget it. Tbh you really don't have to use a computer to do this, why not flashcards?
ОтветитьHi, Is there an equivalent platform to osmosis but for engineers?
ОтветитьBeautiful
ОтветитьWell I believe there is a missing part. I wait for something like, After you study something, the review's should like 1 hour later, a day later, 2 week later, 2 month later .etc
ОтветитьShould we do spaced repition topic wise or chapter wise can someone reply please
ОтветитьFrom my experience, cramming isn't recommended in medical school. You may pass your exams with cramming, but you will not have the overall knowledge to save patients.
ОтветитьSo That's mean We Review Again and Again Technical Books Until we Fully get it.?
ОтветитьCan someone please link the name of the study that was referenced? Can't seem to find it anywhere.
ОтветитьShow me the studies
Ответитьsaludos a la señora elena mria ugas delgado vda de brosset
ОтветитьThis video is a good overview about what space repetition is but doesn't go into how to implement it.
