Have you tried Roland HPD20 and/or Korg Wavedrum?
If so, do you believe they are good enough for studio purpose of playing these rhytms?

I have two questions: is it normal that it is much more difficult for me to play the k with my index finger instead of my ring finger? and how long did you practice until you got so fast?
