Untangling God Of War

God of War is truly my favorite game of all time. It’s one of the only games I’ve come out of feeling like I learned something, and for a time I wasn’t looking into it and was just learning about the gods, but it’s a story of change. It tells the audience that you are who you choose to be, not who you are “destined” to be. It’s a story that tells it’s readers to change for good, and to be better. And it really inspires me to change and to be better like no other.

Great story, and great for making this cinematic videos. Awesome.

I finished the main story just today. This video gave me a completely different understanding of Atreus's character and role within God of war. I'm recommending this video to anyone I know who plays through this game. Amazing work my friend!!!

I think it’s both fitting that Kratos and his son are both chaotic figures in their own right. They both overthrow and cause chaos in their own time line. Kratos definitely, or at least to me, has some overlapping with Loki and himself so it’s only fitting to have Atreus (Loki) as his son.

YOU and your Editing team will always and forever be my go-to example of masterclass on how to EDIT videos. Period. Every Single Video is beautifully done and tastefully edited. No wonder it takes so long to putout quality content.

And then in ragnarok they fuck off the whole thing of Norse mythology gaps and basically use Norse mythology as a frame work to tell their own doo doo story. Nothing is done with Atreus being Loki, the presence of a Greek god in the pantheon also does nothing, all tension in the story is non existent cos Ragnarok is pretty much on standby until you say so, and all the world building from 2018 gets canned because “oh acc the giants made secret panels behind the shrine telling the true story!” Such a let down of a game imo, if 2018 was a masterpiece then Ragnarok pales in comparison
