This video is sooo descriptive that even I, a blind driver in the new forza, could fully understand it!

When exiting a corner you see people do a little bit of opposite lock. Is this a natural reaction to the cars movement, or an intentional pre-emptive decision?

I’m fast irl but I struggle with forza because there’s no “feel” from the cars

Why cant i barely turn on corners it don’t let me turn and i hit the wall

Btw the geometric line is a lot slower out of the corners than the ideal line (which is the line you did) the ideal line for cars will be a lot quicker as the exits are a lot faster.

I feel like I'm getting slower not faster

I always end up drift crashing the boundary

Just turn the wheel and cut the corner. Push everyone out the way. There are no penalties in this game. Its just a rubbish kids game.

Also, how do do you "boost" for lack of better word off the starting line? I'm very new to forza and I can't find anything about it. I try to rev in a sweet spot but I either drop rpms and lose speed or stall pretty much. Granted I'm in automatic. Do I need to/should I learn to play manual with clutch? Is that all around better. I still have a lot of assists on. only ones I have off are abs and steering. And full line is braking only.

Slow down and brake before you turn. Let your enter the turn and it'll glide into the turn or corner. If you hold your brakes in the middle of the turn it throws off balance and puts you into a slide. Brakes × corner= loss of traction. Also throttle control helps in sweeper turns

If you've ever played gran turismo you wouldve learned slow in fast out apex your turns

How can I achieve the best balance between handling and power. I'm working on my own tunes and am having trouble finding that balance. Do you have any tips/suggestions? I usually modify the older cars (muscle cars, 1973 Nissan GTR, 1973 Porsche 911 RS)
