His neighbors: What the hell is he talking about?
ОтветитьBlinker fluid 😂😢
Ответить"
White smoke means, WHAT...."
Don’t forget to check your blinker fluid after putting your engine all together
ОтветитьFaulty piston return springs😅😅😅
ОтветитьBrooo back in the days I thought this is real and when I started working on my first car shop I was looking for cars with piston return rings 😢
ОтветитьNah, the RPMs bouncing around at idle is normal Honda idle things.😂 It's fiiiiiine!
ОтветитьThe car Sounds like it's going to break down
ОтветитьI must admit that I fell for it. I though off-handedly "Yeah, I've never heard of springs before, but it's Honda, and who knows what Japanese engineers could've invented else to enhance performance. They devised VTEC, Hybrid drivetrain, and what not. Why it can't be piston springs"? I am the essence of the April fool.
ОтветитьI clicked on this video so I can learn how to change a head gasket. Can anyone tell me what is and isn't a joke here? I.E do you actually have to torque the head bolts in a certain sequence? Is it okay to clean oil off the valve train?
ОтветитьNice but blue sheet
ОтветитьHow tf did he make it say that in the owners manual😭😭😭☠️☠️
ОтветитьCome on man I feel like the biggest idiot, there's a vehicle outside my house man I I told my dad that it's probably piston return springs and he looked at me like I was crazy or something but I insisted its a real thing 😂😂
ОтветитьI used adjustable coil over springs to raise the head for increased engine capacity.
ОтветитьPiston return spring are break parts.
ОтветитьI know its late to the video. But you had me for a second 😂
ОтветитьI love that the UPC under the barcode is Pi! LOL!
ОтветитьThat a new one lol
ОтветитьOh, this is an April Fool's joke😂. I was absolutely loosing my mind because I never heard or seen piston return springs 😂.
Ответитьvin from obd scan is from a 2004 ford thunderbird
ОтветитьWhere is the head gasket leak video?
ОтветитьI wanna know what happens if you put springs inside of your cylinder and run your car
Does I spontaneously combust into a gamajabillion pieces
idk what is a joke and what isnt :(
Ответитьgood ol' blinker fluid
ОтветитьFrom now on, I'll have to check the date the video was posted on for every video I watch😂
ОтветитьI wish he would do an actual video on how to replace headgasket and valve cover gaskets, cause its literally some of the more expensive works you could go to the Mechanic for
ОтветитьAnybody else still waiting on the head gasket video?
Ответитьhey @Chrisfix I have a (see username) with the stock 307, I went to start it today and ran it for less than a minute, revved it a couple times, and then went to check coolant and it tried to geyser on me.(in other words it had a ton of pressure) It doesn't have a thermostat in it could that be the problem or do I have bigger issues?
ОтветитьWhat the * I've never heard or seen a piston return spring.. Maybe that car is a concept of a perpetual engine 🤣🤣🤣🤣
ОтветитьI knew there were no such parts so I knew this must be some kind of April 1st joke.
Ответитьsomeone used this for their song
Ответитьthe production level of these april fools videos is crazy!
ОтветитьNice job! Thanks for the great video! It saved my car from the junk yard.
ОтветитьOBD in a 1993 Del sol 💀💀
ОтветитьSix years later I just got this dam you Chris fix!
ОтветитьNothing worst than a couple busted piston return springs. Idk why ya didn't weld the cylinder head on, cuts the time in half vs using the damn bolts. Just... FYI.
ОтветитьDam he made a code and everything for it.😂
ОтветитьCan someone explain why it idles at 2000 rpm?😂
ОтветитьMy shop teacher showed us this and we were all mind blown because it made no sense but we believed it since our shop teacher was the one showing us
ОтветитьI’m dying to know how he got the car to make the noise and fluctuate rpms like that
ОтветитьI remember when this video came out. 6 years ago. I feel so much older now..
Ответить6 years later and this video is still helpful. I bought some 150 Rate for my car and it run's amazing! What an amazing video.
ОтветитьDude this is fr funny
ОтветитьMaybe just bc it’s a 90s Honda, but why tf are head gasket repairs this expensive if this is it. It’s time consuming, but not time consuming enough to knock of like 90 percent of the cars value in my opinion”
ОтветитьHey Chris, wonderful video! A question, how did you find the torques? If there is no service manual do you usually buy it from say Honda dealership? or do you trust a few google searches? And one more question, lol. With the rising cost of car parts, is this business still as profitable?
Thank you!
No such thing lol 😂😂😂nice try though
ОтветитьI remember when this came out, I was in the fourth grade, and I didn't know much about engines. I started to believe Chris because he is Chrisfix. Love the joke!
