I was born and raised in Pittsburgh and still live here,mr rogers was huge here but to be honest I wasn’t a fan of the show growing up and found the movie kinda boring but Tom Hanks did an incredible job in the role

I am not feeling Tom Hanks portrayal of Mister Rogers! Especially his interviews.
Ex: The support staff bringing in sweater, not even a thank you, as if he is 'the help'.
After a watching a few interviews, it seems Tom Hanks was not a fan of Mister Rogers. For him is was just another 'gig'. Tom Hanks just isn't empathetic enough to understand. He often seems confused about the essence of the man. Tom Hanks is a good actor, but to portray Mister Rogers, it takes more than good acting, it takes something that most of us, including myself don't have!

I think Tom did good In the movie I just watched it last night on Xfinity stream.

Mr. Rogers was a symbol of a good America, much better than America nowadays.

Tom Hanks is the great guy right behind Mr Rogers in my book.

I am from India and unfortunately didn't grow up watching Mr. Rogers' Program. I loved watching this movie and appreciated the way Tom Hanks and other actors have portrayed the roles. I wish I could have known about Mr. Rogers earlier but IT IS OK....

I saw this movie earlier in the week and it really has little to do with Fred Rogers and more to do with the Esquire journalist and his demons, touching and moving nevertheless

Movie was phenomenal. I didn't "see" Tom, I saw Fred.

I wish I can go back and be kinder, everyone used to say your a sucker and allow people to take advantage of you. Listening to people that say this to you, can make your whole attitude about humanity change you emotionally or make you strong enough to prove them wrong. I saw the movie on Thanksgiving it beautiful and wonderful movie I enjoyed it very much.

He asked his mother to switch from buttons to zippers because he kept buttoning his sweaters out of alignment.

Pittsburgh has sure been lucky for having people that made this world special. Fred Rogers (native son) and Roberto Clemente (adoptive son), both beautiful souls and legends.

I grew up in the amazing city of Pittsburgh. We love Fred Roger's and WQED. Thank you Tom Hanks for accepting this incredible role. I can't wait to see this movie!
