I agree with the "no shoes indoors" -rule. Rest of em seem kind of silly, especially as I always break my pasta. It's easier to eat that way.

Although I am not an "integralist" Italian (I have Cappuccino in the afternoon, often prefer "american" coffe and so on), when you broke those spaghetti, I mean, that had an impact on me.

One of these actually has something to it - don't use warm water from the tap. You could get sick.

Hot water from the tap can contain harmful contaminats that should not be used in cooking, making baby formula or drinking.

Not even in my worst nightmares have I ever considered that anyone might put ice in the wine and now that I have seen this I feel shattered and traumatized.

For Italians and for other Europeans as well. Shoes in the house, it is a pure horror! For the bread upside down, my mother would kick me out of the house, tableclothes obligation and should be changed frequently, etc. etc.

I wish there was one of these about French/Belgian rules too😅 I still remember my husband's friend's shock when I ate 2 hot meals a day. Leftovers from last night's dinner are "not done" for lunch in Belgium and the Netherlands, only a cold sandwich or salad.
