Super Mario Bros. I love this game so fun. in the movie.the movie is cool too

The movie collects ALL the lore from ALL the mario related games, nintendo games, mixes it together and adds somethings new, personally I think they did an amazing job.

Dude didn't even mention the biggest difference, arguably the defining detail. In most of the games, Mario is saving Peach. However, in the movie, Bowser captures Luigi who was transported there by a warp pipe in the REAL world. This along with the switch between the real world and the Mushroom Kingdom (and the neighboring Kong and penguin Kingdoms) provide the most comparative inconsistencies. With this massive plot difference, i think Nintendo was just intending the references to the games to be more of just that, easter eggs, than assuming it's canonical lore. Plus, literally ALL of the characters from the games have different voice actors in the movie. Also, it's a 90 minute movie * based on * a video game, so we can just let the gamers enjoy it without having to think too hard about whether it makes sense when connecting back to the games.

The powerups don't give mushroom effects like they do in the game, and instead only give the power and extra hit.

Maybe in the movie, Peach probably does not care if her hair catches on fire. In the video games, the fire flower power up puts her hair in a ponytail because she doesn’t want her hair to catch on fire and does care about her hair

The normal stars are actually called superstars and the more powerful ones are called power stars but is a bit confusing because the normal ones used to be called starmans

Why did you show the random must levels in side of the games

The biggest plot hole was certainly the bomber bill (though not an incostistency with the games). On one hand, it's powerful enough to destroy the entire mushroom kingdom (nuclear?), but at the same time, Bowser's castle is right above the supposed impact point and would be caught in the explosion.

Some of those mistakes, like the blue shell one, seem to be plot based. However others are just mistakes.

None of these are mistakes, because the movie is set in a different continuity with different rules.

In the HISHE video, Blue Shell operate correctly, the Koopa inside unintendedly miss Mario & Donkey Kong but ended up onto Peach instead. Oops!

Not that I disagree with you, the fire flower transformation is different, but I've always wondered, where does the hairband come from? I guess since it's a movie they wanted it to be a bit more realistic, even though the Mario universe is VERY unrealistic.

I honestly think that it's better when they remove the eyes on the super mushroom because it would be kinda weird if Mario ate raw eyes. I only thought that about the movie, because in the games he doesn't technically eat them, you just have to touch them.

I do agree that the mini mushroom does make Mario die when he gets hit, but if Mario died right then and there in the movie... Well... It wouldn't be able to keep going really...

Actually the lore of donkey kong was changed quite long ago he is canonically the son of cranky kong.

3. I don't get where you're coming from, King Boo can race on any map in multiple mariokart games.
4. What I think happens, is the koopa can do whatever it wants, but in mariokart the blue koopas are told to go for 1st place by the race organizers.
5. The babies have always been weird, like how the hell are the baby versions able to meet the adult versions??? I wouldn't question it the baby mario lore.
6. We don't see too much of this, we might've just not seen either of them despite them being there.

8. There are more, just why would you invade... Idk, the flower kingdom, when you can just kill a couple penguins. Also the star does last for at least a very long time, just nintendo isn't going to give the players that power.

King Boo’s in Mario Kart and can be exposed to daylight. Remember, this is not the Luigi’s Mansion design, it’s the more friendly looking design, so I wouldn’t classify this as a mistake.

fact : the blue shell yes, has broken the rule , the blue shell can HIT ANYONE as long as it is in its way, the 2nd place player can actually get hit by the blue shell IF the first place went behind the 2nd place if the 2nd place was near the shell. Also i realized that dk and mario didnt past peach and toad which makes 0 sense

If we think about it, even the games don't follow the same rules from each other, for example in Mario Galaxy the fire flower lasts for a few seconds while in other games it lasts until you get hit
