Elgato still acts like HDCP is active. Confused 🤷‍♂️

I got it to show up but then it cut out when I loaded a game and can’t get it back. Any ideas?

Wait that's it? And in the settings it has to be allow PlayStation 4? With all the confusing settings the PS3 has I expected this to be much more complicated. Glad to see that some things work easily for a change. Also thanks for that super simple explenation video. Much appreciated.

Elgato hd60 software isn't detecting the capture card, neither is OBS studio..need help people

I got it, I set it up and it works, but when I try to record my gameplay it keep freezing, I have a razer game capture card.

Hey man maybe you can help me out here. I've had one of these for about 5 years now. But last night we had a power outage and i think it may have screwed my splitter up because the two front lights do not turn on anymore and neither does the back light for all of the HDMI cables hooked up. Just wondering if you know of a fix for this ?

Great tutorial! FYI, it doesn't allow higher than 30fps for ps3 since ps3 runs 30fps on most games

You dont need the splitter

The HDMI splitter is rated for 30hz so it’s limited to 30 fps

Help! I bought the hdmi splitter that was linked and it does not work :( I have an old HD60S from before the elgato rebrand, idk if that makes a difference. I also have a newer Mac with usb c ports. Tried with a new usb c-c cord and did not work. Tried with old cords and new hdmi cables, did not work :((

the ps3 screen shows up for a second on my elgato but then dissapears, any advice?

I’m not getting any audio for some reason. It’ll play the audio when I’m in the home menu for the PS3 but when I start a game it won’t play the games audio.

I did all of this but I’m still not getting anything. It still says no signal on the software

I connected everything correctly and the menu of PS3 works, but then the audio is gone when the game starts (recently for me).
Any advice?

My game screen go blank for 2,3 sec it makes recording miss few sec
I tired to turn off deep colour setting but problem still exists

Okay so first this works

Although you may run into some problems (not related to this video) (also I’m using a laptop)

1. Low bandwidth: your pc/lab top may not be powerful enough to broadcast properly and you may need to adjust settings or your laptop/pc

2. (Please note I’m using a dell gaming laptop) so you will be able to stream for a few minutes then your power will randomly shut off. This may happen for a variety of reasons like, overheating or windows 10 issues.

If anyone knows ways to work around these issues please let everyone here know.

Great video, but how do I get the audio to come out to headphones, but still also have sound going to the stream? With modern console this is achieved via chat link and the controllers having headphone jacks in them, but I don't know how to achieve this on a ps3.
