Early/Mid-game Auto Sieve - Crash Landing map

the rapid item valve doesn't seem to work and everything just drops on the ground. did i do something wrong?

There's a quest right after "tools of the trade" in the quest book, that gives a hopper as a reward, and has 8 iron as one of three choices. The hardest part of "tools of the trade" for me is getting the 4 bones for bone crook. Hoppers can be made with aluminum instead of iron as another commenter pointed out. 25 iron minus 10 for the hoppers and minus 8 for the quest iron mean that you only need to sift for 7 iron ingots potentially.

I have around 6 sieves, automatically sifting and I was wondering if there was a way so that I could have 3 of the sieves only sifting gravel and the other 3 only sifting dust.

for some reason, it places the dust into the sieve but i have to manually click it. help?

You consider this more expensive because of a few redstone and the gold, but from sifting all the Dust I find that I usually have a surplus of redstone and no trouble scraping together enough for one gold ingot. But consistantly getting Iron from dust is harder because of the sheer amount needed. It's also worth noting for this build and the previous build, Alumininum can be used as an iron replacement in the construction of hoppers, so that might be helpful

How can we slow the clock down VSWE, to 2 or even 5 ticks? It definitely affects fps and tps. Im guessing the sieve is at max speed with a 2-3 tick clock anyway.

It turns on and off every tick, every redstone tick or every game tick?

Could you do some of this with bundled cable?

This seems REALLY intense, like horribly inefficient server processing wise, how would one say do this once every 5 ticks ? I think that would still put it within the max speed of the sieve.

Not working, not seeing the dust go into the sieve. 

It's not working for me, I think I did everything the same except I did gravel, sand and dust. As far as I can tell the inventory relay isn't working.

doesn't lag my backside. With the machine turned on (and this is just 1 sieve) my frames go from 400FPS down to 80FPS, the moment I turn this thing off my frames shoot right back up.

Cannot seem to get gravel to work, even redid the whole set up just changing out where ever dust was used for gravel

you sir are a genius. sfm is amazing. i did notice a big drop in frames per second when i switch this on. drops from 58 to 30. has anyone else noticed such behavior?

Easily expandable is very true.  In a creative world I very easily had 30 sieves and the generation of ores was so insanely fast, it was quite silly

Hey, setup works nicely.  However every time it unloads, the pulses stop until you re-flick the lever.  Anyway to make it work so that it will always start when it gets reloaded?

This is actually way cheaper than the previous version because iron is harder to obtain through sieving.. 4 iron dust for 1 ingot without smeltery, hence the redstone required is not the bottleneck

i fear tps lag.  how taxing is this on the system with a 1-tick clock running.  does it become moreso when adding additional sieves?

It aint working for me :C nothing happens, but for some reason when i wrote the commands it happears a red "!", saying " no whitelist" and "no direction" in some of the commands, is it normal, how do i fix it? please help

I added an additional Block Gate to place cobblestone, and used the Autonomous Activator quest reward filled with hammers to break the cobble into gravel, and put the gravel into the dust & cobblestone input chest. The sifting system is easy to adapt to process both gravel and dust.

I think that this is cheaper than the other design. You will get 17 redstone and 4 gold dust long before you get 144 iron dust. So the reduction in iron cost means that this one is much earlier-game than the other.

When I try this, it actually places the blocks, and I can't figure out why, only reason I can think of is that I'm trying it on a server with a fair bit of lag.

Im cooking up various mental ideas on how to automate the dust ore creation side of things, not sure if it will work on the TSW High Oven because ive had problems getting that to even do basic automation like topping its own fuel up.
Though i have noticed one thing with your sifter setup, when im processing more than just dust with it (gravel, soulsand etc) it will not work all the sieves i connected unless there are multiple items in the input chest, is there a way to "fix" that? (not broken, just inefficient) 

Oh this makes me feel like a simpleton, ive been using the auto activators and a vacuum hopper ... lol.
