Starfield FASTEST Way To Level Up Starship Design Skill - Unlock ALL Ship Parts Fast!

For me it was saying I was reaching my max height and the ship is no taller than a one of my other ships. Anyone know why this is happening?

I’m having issues rn since the last update I can travel near the planet but it puts me close to the moon and won’t allow me to land anywhere on prima 3 when I try it keeps saying set course travel to location but does not give me the option to land I ne had that problem b4

I never built a ship. How do we get all the parts from one vendor to the different vendors around the galaxy in order to get the differently branded components? Do you need a ship that ships the parts to a single place to put it all together? Also, I could like a ship with 6 people assigned. How do I make your vengeance do that?

I'm yet to see anyone do a vid on structural parts and what fits together. Most parts are apparently available from the landing pad builder (no idea if I've unlocked it all). For eg the M40Ulysses HE3 tank blends nicely to the side of engine parts like 2x SAE5220 stacked with tanks either side looks really nice. Quite like them with the Nova range of engines as well. Be nice to see a full range of parts and what parts have decent "blending" between them.

I used your tip yesterday to get starship design 4. It worked great. I went to the Red Mile ship vendor and just used my frontier to add the unique parts to. It took me a bit to figure out how it works but I basically just put a hab under my docker and then added more habs on the left and right of that. Making a big wing on my ship. Then I just added structure parts to that wing I built out of habs. I went from 9 out of 30 to completing it in no time at all. It did cost me around 20k-40k credits even after removing the parts later but it was worth it to get level 4. Thanks

omg I just realised I am levelling up the wrong perk, I was doing starship engineering, not design :(

i had to delete this game because my 700k bounty is too much for me to pay and i cant progress in 3 missions on planets where i have to talk to people to progress as they all keep shooting me. is there a way around not paying it ?

Where do you go to upgrade the ships

Once again man, you need a ship that is long enough for this or it overextends your landing gear. You need a very long ship to attach like this, but of course you missed it. You're using your custom ship that already has Starship Design Rank 4. I've been burned by your suggestions a few times now.

If i purchase all those parts then sell them back, will they be in my list of available parts for future upgrades?

The skill challenge for ranks 2, 3 & 4 of Starship Design requires you to buy and add new Structural pieces to your ship(5->15->30). You will have to visit several different manufacturers in order to find the required 50 unique structural pieces. I have found 65 unique ship structural pieces from the 5 shipbuilders. This will cost about 25,000CR.

if you dont want to do this, just build a random ship or 2 and you'll unlock max it out easily

I dont see this option under ship builder. It only shows weapons.

If anyone is having troubles with getting the parts for your ship, make a outpost and build a landing pad with ship builder. It will give you most the parts you can use current to your level but not all. I was able to build the 04 vanguard completely at my ship builder. Note that to get the first 04 Vengeance video build you will need to be around level 38 and for the upgraded version you will need to be around level 66.
