Btw found your channel recently and I’m just obsessed with all of your builds. They just make me want to play! I totally agree with what you’ve said before about the lots “have to be good” before I can start playing 😂 I’ll take my Sims somewhere on a date and end up going immediately into build mode to fix some terrible base game night club instead 🤣

This build is gorgeous! Loved the main bedroom - nailed the colour scheme and furnishings. Also, that animal shed is so good. The assets in the CL pack are some of my favourites and the simple living lot trait is my favourite challenge - I love the mundane chores too, even the vacuuming 😄
I have a build request if you feel like tackling it. I want to place a fisherman's club over on the Brindleton Bay lighthouse island. Here in Australia a fisherman's club was usually located in small seaside towns where fishing was the main industry. It was a bar for the local fishermen but was very community focused. Movies were shown there and there were arcade machines for kids. It was for the whole community to enjoy.

Ahhh this is just great! I'm keeping Henford strictly British and it's not easy to find different sized builds that look British enough for my liking (and don't have modern crispy white interiors haha) so this will definitely come in handy, thank you so much! Have a great day! ^^

There are so many things to love about this, but I think it all comes down to this: It looks believable, life-like. That is one of your main strong points (aside from this incredible talent of conjuring a cohesive style using any combination of furniture, basically, and considering gameplay when building).
I love the greenhouses, the way you laid out the garden (simply structured, as a small-scale farm would be!) and added your own plants to provide some more variety and how you basically created your own mock animal shed that fits the aesthetic of this rustic cottage so much better than the sheds Maxis gave us.
I definitely feel like I've seen market stalls like yours in front of farms or by the roadside! And how you terrain-painted towards the gate to the garden and put the old tractor there ... Every little detail is just perfection and I can tell you thought it through.
The interior, again, is just the right mixture of furniture, and you definitely nailed the cottage style without drifting off into kitsch. Your clutter makes this place feel like a home, and most of all a home with a longer history and loving inhabitants, but it's not over the top. Every room you furnish has personality and seems to tell a story (or many stories!) and the objects you place feel like they have purpose, more purpose than just to fill the space. Every single thing I've seen you build and furnish had its own unique character; you never seem to use the same objects over and over again or repeat patterns too much.

This is so detailed, amazing job. Just a build suggestion if you’re up for it (no worries if not): could you build a murder mystery mansion? Large old house, lots of rooms. Kind of like a clue house but with your own floor plan? That would be cool to see—but all your builds are awesome
