Bobby Boucher of Pipe Tobacco
ОтветитьHe sounds like cartman when they had the crackbaby basketball team
ОтветитьLet a pipe rest 7 days before re-smoking after cleaning it. This is why you need 7.
Season a pipe with bourbon or whiskey overnight first time (a light rub will do in the bowl). Smoke a full bowl first time to get the cake going. Always clean 2 hours after smoking.
A well-packed, correctly lit pipe, even when talking, does not need to be re-lit if done correctly by my experience. I've gone into a drug store with the pipe lit in my pocket and 10 minutes later came out and stoked it back to life no issues many times in my life.
I do declare!
ОтветитьNew to the pipe crew, im getting one for fathers day. Btw happy fathers day to you all. But honestly im coming from smoking Black and Mild Casino cigars. And need to lower my habit. Ive looked into pipes for a while now and looking into all the education i can find. So, thank you all. Im looking into what is a good first tobacco i should try. Nothing too expensive and not too cheap. Just right as a usual morning with a cup of coffee and the morning news. And also, one that my wife wont complain about too much. Nice to meet you all. Stay safe and enjoy the day.
ОтветитьGod damn this cajun accent sounds cool
ОтветитьI don’t understand this guy’s accent. Not being passive-aggressive, but I have been to the south and not encountered accent this heavy at all. Whee is this from?
ОтветитьI have one pipe that I can't get the pipe cleaner all the way through the pipe without taking the stem off. So I just take the stem off and put it back on.
ОтветитьSomewhat related to ghosting: I've heard people suggest you let any pipe sit on a stand for three days. Why? Because if it's wood (aka not Meerschaum), it'll get moist from smoking. And if you don't let it dry out over three or so days, the wood will remain wet, then cause it to rot. The nice thing about Meerschaum is it doesn't have that problem. Problem is, it's super fragile. Dropping it once will cause it to break 80% of the time.
Also, I didn't know about the "don't take apart a pipe when it's warm" statement. I've been smoking, letting it sit for a few minutes, then picking it up I'd take apart, and pipe clean both pipe and stem. Haven't seen any issues, but really I don't let my pipe get super hot in the first place.
Finally, I use a cork nub to "knock" the ash out gently. I think from now on I'll scoop it out like he suggests, then do a few knocks to get anything else out.
Thank you.
He sounds like a wealthy estate boss
ОтветитьIts called a non rhotic southern accent. Its pretty much lost as it was mainly popular back In aristocratic south
ОтветитьI would hire this gentleman to read me a menu…cable bill..anything….anything.
ОтветитьI’ve been smoking from a pipe for a little while now and I still don’t sound like him. What am I doing wrong?
ОтветитьI immediately love these guys
ОтветитьThe first rule is never, ever, smoke a straight stemmed pipe. This will make you look inept and silly among other things.....
ОтветитьStumbled across this clip .. had me laughing and I don’t even smoke a pipe .. thanks for the chuckle

ОтветитьVery intricate and delicate way to enjoy getting cancer
ОтветитьFinally. Evidence for time-traveling.
ОтветитьThis is 100% Charlestonian (SC)
ОтветитьThis man sounds and looks like Colonel Sanders in his prime.
ОтветитьI have fond memories of my grandfather relaxing in his lazy boy recliner smoking his pipe and cherry tobacco. He lived to be 94 years old....I'm approaching my 51st bday this next week and will be purchasing my first pipe to carry-on the tradition.
ОтветитьI have a silicon ashtray with a large pyramid of silicon in the middle great for tapping lightly
ОтветитьI am pretty new to the pipe smoking hobby although I wasted 30 plus years smoking cigarettes, but I will say I have found with it pipe I like to light it with a stick match. Zippos taste god awful no matter how you use em, a butane lighter is okay in a pinch I guess but there's something about the wood and sulfur flavor mixing with the tobacco that really sets it off for me.
Just my opinion.
This man has more culture than a petri dish.
ОтветитьHearing that man speak you can tell he's a true son of the Palmetto State! 😀One of the greatest of the Old South accents there are.
