I am in California, I'd like to know when your yearly trip back to Colorado is with the Kiwi's? I 'd like info on how long your here and what the trip entails. I am interested in learning cow work, truewestern style

Vaquero tradition..............Many good aspects grew out of this tradition to be incorporated into what is being called natural horsemanship. I ask you to consider the need to go from traditional hackamores to the spade bit. A horse can be developed to be very soft and responsive in the traditional hackamore to meet all that is asked of him. A rope halter with lead line converted to reins can even be more refined. I know this goes against the tradition, but it is true.

I am new to your channel, and love your teachings. I have a question for you, I have 3 mares, the oldest one, is the head of the heard. She does not like to be caught. I half to take the other two out and takes me a few for her to let me put a halter on her. Do you have any suggestions? It’s the same with her on a daily basis. I am learning from you, thank you, I appreciate your suggestions
