How to use the Easy Cap USB Capture DC60 Mac and Windows

It doesnt let me install the easy cap soft, it says error or bad filr, do u know where to download it from?

@SuperBillza you could play the game the 55 inch then plug it to the 5 inch let it record the game you played and there you have same thing maybe better quality

Is it at all possible to use the easycap to display a computer output to a tv?

can you do it without bootcamp? i have parralells on my macbook and its incredibly slow...I can get video on my mac but its not in color, it has giant zig-zag lines across(destroying the picture), and i do have sound.

@TEHKlNG Make sure you hook it up to usb 2.0 port. If you are using a Mac you can now use DC60 with Easycap Viewer. I recommend using iSquint to capture the video and Soundflower to send the audio to iSquint. Hope that helps.

@TEHKlNG Yes, make sure it's a port at the back of the computer, not from a keyboard. It needs enough power to be recognized by your computer. Make sure you have the latest EasyCap Viewer and make sure you've done a restart before opening EasyCap viewer. Plug in the easycap first, then open the viewer. You should get a black screen with a playbutton in the middle. If it still doesn't recognize easycap viewer make sure other video programs are closed.

@bluestreak711 It depends on the program you use to record the video. Normally programs let you crop that top area off or you can pick a screen dimension that is slightly smaller vertically to crop that top bit off. Usually this is just a tracking issue from VHS video or interference from the RCA cables.

@wwwgjackca I have Nero 7 Ultra Edition and the Ulead software that comes with the Easy Cap USB. Will one of those crop the video? I haven't tried video cassettes yet. So far I've just been trying to save stuff off my DVR.

i run hdmi from my ps3 to my tv then the cable to the easy cap and then plug my easy cap to my COMP but my computer has no disk drive so i gotta do it by USB SUCKS :( hopfully it has good quality

@iMAWtalibanana Make sure you have the latest version of the viewer 0.5.3. It doesn't crash on my computer over here, so make sure it's open before any other video programs are open.

If you are not as rich as i am, get an easy cap. If you are middle class like me get a roxio. If you have a job or is just rich get an hd pvr.

Do I need to have my pc close by? Because I have a desktop and it's heavy and has too many wires to move around. My tv and game is in a separate room.
